I've been watching the PBA on television since the early 70s. I still haven't figured out why anybody thinks showing the shot with the camera behind the lanes is a good idea. I want to see the ball go down the lanes and see where and how it hits the pocket on every shot, not just some of them. Besides that, the telecast is great. I especially like the no breaks final.
@@piouswhale You don't need to "mix it up" just because they think the viewers have the attention span of a fruit fly. Show it as a replay. Would you watch a basketball game if just as a player shot a 3 pointer, the camera shot went to a camera underneath the basket so all you could see is whether the ball went in or not?
Anyone notice how the whole approach and swing is like in slow motion . Completely opposite to like tennis , baseball, etc where your trying to swing your arm as fast as possible
The commentary is dreadful. "OMG he MISSED IT' like man that was annoying. We get it they missed no need to act like the world is falling apart because they missed a spare. Every time they missed! dreadful
Dom has certainly struggled since switching to that trash can company or bowling balls... If he can't throw a purple one on the lft... He is behind the field!
Bad maintenance on the left side of the left lane; everyone's missing their spares on that lane. Very very unprofessional for the bowling alley not taking care of that. Destroyed several potentially very impressive games; truly disappointing.
@@jasonwhite1616 If the left side of the lane has issues on the approach, even if you throw your spares straight, any of the spares on the right side become difficult to make. It has nothing to do with throwing spares straight or hooking them.

Breakpoint cameras can be nice. Mixes it up and theyll always show the normal view anyway

It was two different patterns and even spares will react a little differently.
45ft dragon was on the left lane
that's why most pros shoot straight at spares. It takes the pattern out of play. Those misses were bad execution, plain and simple.
