I think one very important thing to note is that you gotta be super careful should you encounter any kind of frost bomb effect (iirc there's an essence monster mod for example that uses frost bomb). Unless it has reduced effect (seriously don't know right now) your AG wouldn't be able to sustain the degen anymore at a 75% reduced life regenaration rate.
I don't know that I have enough socket economy to support this. I feel like with most minion builds everything is really tight, and I'd be better off just rotating a Divine Blessing. With this You either have to toss it on the body, or remove Spectres from the equation, since you can't chunk up with AG-Spectres-ML-MS. Still nice to see new and interesting gems though.
Just got mine up and running with a haste aura and oh man does it feel good. Got him with a meat shield and convocation on left click so he should be good for most situations.

You get an additional aura with no reservation cost and a hefty bit of aura effect from the Guardians Blessing support itself, the tradeoff is opportunity cost of other gems in the sockets
I played with an Ag leagues ago, and got them to over 100k. I used the unique ring where you can put in multiple supports, empower minion life ect, and an alternate quality Ag for extra life. Can't you just make some res gear? And run an Ag on any builds for auras?

Im at the point of being able to run my AG with all supported gems. I realized that in the mage skeles guardian PoB (medium budget), ghazzy is running AG but no summon zombies. Should i be worried about not having the front line? I figured it would be okay since i have The Surrender with zealotry + generosity, but im still skeptical

On any character, you could be able to run the lvl 1 blessing, which has 30% REDUCED aura effect, but drain only 8% of life. Superior Meat Shield grants around 29% reduction, so that's only 5,7% degen. Anomalous blessing grant 2% regen to minion, so that's 3,7% degen. Stone Golem has 2% regen itself, so that's 1,7% degen. Almost a minute uptime with no passive tree investment for 70% effect aura. Possibly permanent if you run Vitality or add Primordial Harmony jewel. You can also ballance the support level for higher aura effect with shorter uptime, to summon only for bosses. But is it worth 4 gem slots? It's quite difficult for most builds to find 4 extra sockets for optional ~20% damage boost be honest.
On a proper minion build the AG almost never dies. You're more likely to die than he is. On a build without such a focus and investment, he'll die too often for it to be worth it. Only ever rely on AG on a properly specced minion build.

I have no Idea why even took precautions and everything and it's not dying it simply DOES NOT SPAWN no matter what. So I am not only angry I lost half my currency trying to spawn it but for the waste of time.
If you’re using fleshcrafter make sure your minions have increased chaos resistance does not get equal to or more than 30%. This is a basic knowledge for minion players Ghazzy also mention it in this video.
@@Delpnaz For chaos resist, you have to count it yourself by combining all sources from minion base + gems + passive tree + item (+ AG's item for AG) or you can just use the program "path of building". They've added + all elemental resistances to the ingame skill icons so it's a bit easier now for elemental resistances but you still need to look up base resistances on the internet as this only shows the gem+tree+item part. For example AG base elemental resistances are 40 and chaos resistance is 20 and fleshcrafter converts 2% of life per 1% chaos resist to energy shield so if you get 30% from other sources your AG will have all its life converted and dies.
sorry yea mage skele build. i've reached T16 maps, currently on a normal 5L not fleshcrafter. +1 wand and +1 helm. 21/0 raise skele. with minion D, volley, echo and pierce. large cluster with call of slaught and feasting fiend, med clus with the skele cant die for 4s. thats abt it
Gruthkull is massive overkill for regen, Doppelganger is waaaay better. You lose a bit of life but get saved vs poison, ground effects and oneshots from huge physical hits and frost bombs. Further I am using a high block chance shield wit h4% life recovery on block with Singularity for 25% Hinder Brittle ground while moving boots with 30% movement speed Culling strike gloves with 10% chaos resists So far he died 3 times with 50k hp and like 30% regen... I don't get it lol... rip divines

So it is a video for the players who have taken a dozen characters to maps in their first two months of PoE years ago. And then spent the next chunk of time invested in the game with slooowly understanding why they did this or that when following the build guides, thus becoming a pro after a year or so. Why would they watch a video explaining Animate Guardian? Oh well. Now, instead of exposing how far I got in the 2-3 years let's just say that i grew up with diablo LOD guides. Some of them even mentioned "if you don't have this item then you will have to find another way of getting this or that, probably sacrificing this or this". Even the "Last wish" guide was a fun read, and that is all it remained since I discovered weeks later how hard it is to come by those runes. So off to the rest of the video, which will probably take me a few months...

You need to go for Hungry Loop... My AG this way has roughly 65k life and 20k life regen per second.

Does the AG die in high rank trials?
On a proper minion build the AG almost never dies. You're more likely to die than he is. On a build without such a focus and investment, he'll die too often for it to be worth it. Only ever rely on AG on a properly specced minion build.
