Just like carter realized Abby wasn’t the one for him when he couldn’t propose. I agree all Abby snd carter did was fight and so did Luka and Sam. Sam didn’t want to let go of control of her life to Luka and Alex was never gonna be his son. Carter was sponsoring Abby to death and when he realized she wasn’t going to live up to his expectations of what he saw in his head of her he got a reality check really quick. It’s why Abby snd Luka and we’re always it. They knew each other’s flaws and loved each other anyways neither had expectations on each other’s.
