Finally some new music from a great band. My best friend introduced me to this band several years ago; we used to harmonize many songs off of Hummingbird together. Good times; great memories.
Local Natives are to Millennials to what Radiohead is to GenX. A largely unrecognized band (except to music nerds) with copious across the board and stellar live performances. It might be another decade of touring and working their asses off before they ever get the grand accolades they truly deserve. They're simply unparalleled in their genre. So go see them every chance you get before you can no longer afford tickets.
Their most underrated song imo, and i didn't know the vocalist did so many instrument at the same time
I believe this is the originality and freshness mainstream music misses. Indie will always be my home♡

Hummingbird is an all time top 5 album for me
I knew the lead guy in this had a great backing voice in some of their songs, I didn't know he actually leads in some songs! Damn!
The best songs are the ones where he leads,
He actually leads a lot of the live performances
@@omnidom6279I won't stand for this Who Knows Who Cares erasure.

Gotta love The Magnificent Seven intro to kick things off
Que descoberta incrível foi essa banda, em especial essa música e o álbum Violet Street. Eu amo essas performances ❤️
Aw man I love this channel and alllllll the great bands that would be unseen unless you’re aware. I love this shit. Gonna follow em
Nashville can't wait
This song came to my mind when I saw the opening sequence for "Fallout"
it's beautiful
They sure made it a point to not show the face of the bassist
00:39 got eeeem
Guess he didn’t sign the release
😮
2nd best song on violet
who is here from outer banks
I shazammed this shit immediately when I heard it. Great show too.
Their drummer is very basic. Same basic beat every song. I wish he’d evolve a bit. Excellent band regardless.
Considering that Local Natives are a band which excels in percussion, I wouldn't say that... Go listen to Gorilla Manor as an example if you may.
Tame impala still better lol
who was comparing them?
