This is a short video to show you how to DJ with the instant doubles feature inside Serato DJ. Super easy thing to do, to help with a down turntable or cdj or if you only want to carry one to the gig!

The Instant doubles buttons on the Seventy and the Twelves are my most used buttons.
@@logisticalstyles yeah, I love those!!
This was very helpful. I use Traktor and it worked like a charm. Thanks!
@@alanmodimages awesome, I’m glad it helped!
Great for if one of your tables breaks down mid set!
Great tip, love using one table.
@@FrancoPuetz yesssir one of those oldie but goodie tips
so what happens if you want to bring in another song?
You just load it up on the side you have your turntable on.
but how to mix in another song?
Simple just cross fade over when both same songs are playing then load the new track on the turntable. Plus you can use your cue points.
It’s the same exact thing in all the software. All of them have instant doubles. It’s not exclusive to Serato
@@bboymac84 I know I just don’t know where the function is in the other programs since I don’t use them.
@@iamdjkue it’s automatic
I also use Phase, and I’ve been thinking about making a table like this specifically for phase. Any tips???
@@truestory2227 definitely do it, you just have to take the tone arm out and you can remove the big core damper out of the turntable as well to make it lighter. I know some people on the internet have made cool things to cover up the tone arm whole also.
@@iamdjkue I wish I had the skillset to build a 10” platter using Technics parts, but anything Technics is expensive. Almost like a Rane 12 but more like a Rane 10! Smaller/lighter and compact!
@@truestory2227 yeah I feel you
