Yes, Carr was 19/23 with 200 yards, but ya'll are forgetting that 2 of the incompletions were on potential TD's, one was to Hill who got both hands on the ball but couldnt hold on to it, and the other was to Shaheed where the DB got his hand in there the last second. So, Carr could have had 5 TD's on 21/23 for 300+ yards
Kamara came up just 2-3 yards short on another pass as well.

Lol.. so many back handed complements. I have never seen a more disrespected QB in 40 years of watching football. Maybe Doug Flutie, but that was more on Managment not giving him a chance to play. Everyone is acting as If the Saints just beat a Superbowl contending team. Am I shocked as to how well they performed against the Panthers? Yes! But please temper your expectations.. The Panthers are hands down the WORST team in the NFL so the results reflect as such.. Now if the Saints can repeat this performance against the Cowboys, Eagles, and Chiefs THEN and ONLY THEN can we start to truly analyze their performance. Let’s not go too far with the celebration just to get slapped in the face with REALITY when facing a much better team.. But good win and props to Carr in week 1..

Carr has been here for one year, got beaten with a terrible OL, worked with a terrible OC and new system and players for him and still ended up with a winning record, and he hasn’t done Sh.t to some…shm. The may be the most underrated player in the league, so much hate for the man in NOLA in hist first year. Unreal
That's never going to be Derek Carr? Derek Carr put the entire franchise on his back in 2023 with no help and a WEAK roster and carried the team to a winning record.
DC4 is the man. And he has to do it again with a sub-par roster.
Time to dump Jake Ass-well and find some competent.
He did the same thing in 2021 with Vegas in far worse circumstances.

In the last 9 games of the season, the defense allowed almost 27.8 ppg. For the season, they ranked 26th in points allowed and 29th in turnovers. In what way were they carrying exactly?
