49 years old and still loving it. It already started in the 90's with trance and it just evolved into this kind of. :-)
As a pyrotechnician and hardstyle lover, this brings tears to my eyes! The pyrotechnics are perfectly and beautifully choreographed to the music, and I am sure thousands of hours of hard work went into this from probably hundreds of talented people! God damn, who is cutting the fucking onions in here!?!?
tbh there are soo many mistakes in the pyro that i dont think its acceptable anymore for such big and long existing event. there were a total of i dont know 5 or 6 big mistakes in the firework that they tried to hide in the video here (watch a cellphone video of it then you'll also see those). I was there standing relatively in the front and you can see at the end that the stage is burning on the left 'wing' and i remember someone with a fire extinguisher ran across the stage. music is also meh the anthem, 'children of drums' and 'one' kind of ruined it. nevertheless the bass modulators song was sick also ghost stories. that is the only critics i have. i will still keep on going there :P P.S endshow 2019 doesnt have any big mistakes, only the timing was off by like 2 seconds (which was also fixed in the video)
@@freshdumbhd239 the fire problem is not that strange, it is a quite packed stage with a lot going on and only one test round the thursday before. And the tracklist was not that Early, at most they had 3 months to prepare. And that is for 2 different evening, if take that in account then those mistakes can happen.
@@gercobosch2870 still.. they are not new into this, they are doing endshows for at least 8 years to that point.
@@freshdumbhd239 they make use of pyro companies so its out of hand of the organisation itself, evreything goes off at the good moment except some pieces of pyro probably due to an fault in the detcord or connection of it, but none the less i agree with u, they prob use another company in 2021 after 2years (18/19) delay fails in thr pyro :p
@@MRIRONLAK jup, they also ignite the batteries from both sides and when one side doesnt ignite (electrical charge prob) the one battery is off and fires longer than the other ones and example for such mistake is visable in the 2017 zaterdag endshow headhunterz - destiny. Of course they just external companies but lately idk they dont do such a good job. 2019 firework was okay and had only minor mistakes (timing was off yes) but i'd love to see more actual firework not only comets (the things that just fly without any explosion). crackling firework = love

i was super excited and suprised when i saw the stage, didn't expect that at all.
i was walking past the yellow stage and all of a sudden i see a beast of a stage peeking over the trees.

Disagree, people shoud actually dance and not film everything that will anyways be avalable on the Internet in even better quality
KiLLeR MaFFiN sayin that I’ve been to afew festivals and I’ve always regret it hard when I didn’t get my phone on charge. Some moments can be magical and although u have you’re phone out recording you still witness it with your eyes. I go through the videos I have everyday of boomtown and places like that

As someone who does concert and club lighting i'll say; the drop at 21:26 is flawless, absolute goosebumps. You guys have got the best lighting and show designers in Europe, maybe even the world.

Everything was going well. Until I saw the face, it seemed like the Devil was dominating everyone, and all of that was designed by satan
I also appreciate how at 17:43 they have the fireworks timed to explode right on the beat where the kick stops for a moment. Perhaps it's just a minor thing but given how long the fuse time on those fireworks was it's great that they got them like perfectly synced in that moment.

I love how the crowd goes quiet the second ghost stories starts playing. Still to this day an insane track.
If I knew this was the last Defqon I would attend in 2 years I would have partied 10 times harder. Man I miss this feeling :'( one of the best (if not THE best) shows I attended.
Mad respect for the editor/s for cutting out almost all the firework fails. Great endshow as usual, Q-Dance! Lighting and Lasors were top notch this year.

I've never cried watching a TH-cam video until now... I can't begin to imagine being there.
I am not the biggest fan of hardstyle, but some one mentioned to watch this, not for the music, but just everything around the music. So i stepped in totally unaware on what could happen with me. Now i have 20 times replayed this f!@#$% video totally addicted to the music haha. I can even hear or dream the tunes in my sleep lol.
