While working on these videos I always ask myself if I should skip animations, titles, text notes, some b-roll etc. to just upload it faster but I hope the amount of work shows. I have a carrying case made by Butterfly, and it has so much room in the upper compartment. Highly recommend it. I keep a portable Dock, the JoyCon rails, and some grips in there. Absolutely awesome!
It Came From A Box Probably both of them would really be helpful especially the car cause what if the battery runs out (will only happen if you have a fanboy kid). I say the battery is for school,portability and a trip on a bus, the car charger is only for one thing so both may help out (battery more but both are useful)p.s. sorry for the long comment

Currently, I'm using a Zelda branded hard case with a carabiner (hiking clip) through the handle. It gets the job done, but it doesn't hang from by belt loops quite right, and the inner pouch is still useless. Not exactly ready to upgrade to a City Slicker, but I'm about ready to upgrade to SOMETHING soon...
I got that one too, really happy with the protection itself but the mesh pouch... barely fits the joycon straps. In fact, so tight a fit that I only carry earphones in there. Might need a separate hardcase for my accessories... 🤔 Thinking to use an actual bag when I need the Switch with me, as to not scream "I HAVE A SWITCH. PLEASE ROB ME!" 😅
I came to your videos to try and find a case for my switch and I really love the tomtoc case 🙂 it’s stylish and form fits to the console and is a hard shell . despite not having a storage pouch for cables, it’s a great option!

I use the case with the mini switch logo on it because it's cheap you can bring it anywhere it comes with headphones screen protector little parts to cover the joy con if it gets sweaty and it has pockets to put all your games in

I have the same case you mentioned. While it won't go into the dock or able utilize the the kickstand, it does still fit perfectly in the Hori stand and allows it to be charged still. I travel a lot for work and I prefer my pro controller so it works great! The only thing I have found is that games like hyrule warriors can get hard to read or see things like the minimap with the increased distance

The multiplayer pro case from Waterfield is really good as well. It is not cheap at all $150. But storing the switch, vita, and a ton more is nice. Plus the bag feels like it'll last forever.
Pledged on the gripcase on kickstarter and received it in December. It is good for playing games in handheld, but there were a few issues. It is advertised that it can be docked, it can but it will fit snuggly on the dock and there are time it will lost connection to the TV when playing. Another issue is the L and R buttons need to be aligned with case if not the buttons will not be pressable. A major issue I had was the volume down button, whenever I would press it, it would turn off my system. Skull and co already address some of these issues by providing DIY videos. The gripcase is great, had a lot of fun playing on handheld mode but those I mentioned above were some of the glaring issues I had when using the product.
That's actually what we've heard :O! It's been either "IT'S AMAZING!" or "It's okay." The docking issue seems to be fixed by cutting off a piece from the inside?! Then the ones who can dock are saying, same as you, that it's a tight fit with random disconnects. The other issues would make me rage so bad D: I appreciate the DIY videos but I mean...what happened to their R&D? This should of never made it out of the factory D:
I was so paranoid about my screen getting scratched and I put a protector on as soon as it came out of its plastic bag, and I'm glad I did because the first time I put the switch in the dock I got a long scratch on the side of my screen protector

I use a 3DS case. It could use a few things to be fully Switch but otherwise Switch fits, joys, grip, power supply, and a stand for powering on the go. One side unzips with a great many places to put games. It has a strap to throw it over your shoulder as well.
I got a glass screen from Walmart. And it even came with it’s case, all you do is pull a sticker and insert the tablet and you have the perfect install. I didn’t even have to touch the glass
*Hey just a PSA the fastsnail dock in particular is known for breaking switches not as much as the nyko but it still happens I would not suggest getting the fastsnail dock.*

Hey Earl, we just use the USB to USB-C cable and hook it up to the TV we connect to :O If not, I think you might be able to use an external battery but that's bulky D:
Those dock dongles have bricked switches to. I bought one but I don’t use it. I have an extension cable coming out of my dock and use it like that. So much better.
but can that switch case fit a switch with the Ipega 9083 attached to it? (The Ipega 9083 is one of the FEW third party joycon alternatives that exist right now it is one of the first I have been able to find as I've been searching for Third party joycons for so long side note: they work as a wireless pro controller they aren't actual joycons that slide into the rails they grip the switch though and can be detached)

I just bought the Orzly Carry Case a few days ago and it broke immediately (the straps that hold the switch in). Any other recommendations to carry the switch and a few accessories (portable dock, battery bank, etc.)?
My left joycon locking button broke on the first drop and it was in a bag inside another bag inside its own case so I mean did I get a defective one because my switch is not strong at all
I'm only just getting a switch for christmas this year but don't know what accessories to use, can you help me with products I should get that are fairly cheap but durable and accomadate my needs. I'm planning on getting an extra 2 joycons for games like smash bros. And will also be using my switch quite a lot, maybe 4-5 hours a day, I'm also going to be taking it out and about a fair bit. A couple if the games I'm planning to get are: legend of zelda breath of the wild, snipperclips, super smash bros. Ultimate and ARMS. If you guys have any suggestions that would be great, thanks!
Waterfield Pouch is definitely the way to go if you want to go under the radar. Honestly, every other pouches/cases just attract too much attention. I can't even recommend anyone getting the Waterfield City Slicker either; looks like a women's purse to me. Plus, the Mumba is the perfect protection case in combination with the Waterfield Pouch. With those together, I wouldn't worry about tossing my Switch right inside my bag. And yes, it's a wopping $50 dollars. But, all of the pouches are carefully handcrafted and not mass-produced. There is plenty of longevity and quality in exchange for the hefty price tag. My previous Switch case started wearing down only after 2 months. The Waterfield pouch that I have is going strong even after 8 months.

Did you buy the neon joycons online? I can’t find a set of two neon green anywhere
I bought them online BUT they were released along with ARMS so they may be more difficult to find now :O I'd suggest looking in local stores.
Tempered glass screen protectors are amazing, best upgrade you can do to the switch.
Do the joysticks on the pro controller drift at all like the joycons

You can FORCE it to fit but I fear it'll damage the analog sticks so we don't use it that way :O Plus that's without anything else :O
The Backpack is a godsend. I use it as a daily backpack even If I leave the switch at home sometimes.

Those dock dongles have bricked switches to. I bought one but I don’t use it. I have an extension cable coming out of my dock and use it like that. So much better.

(The Ipega 9083 is one of the FEW third party joycon alternatives that exist right now it is one of the first I have been able to find as I've been searching for Third party joycons for so long side note: they work as a wireless pro controller they aren't actual joycons that slide into the rails they grip the switch though and can be detached)

I just bought the Orzly Carry Case a few days ago and it broke immediately (the straps that hold the switch in). Any other recommendations to carry the switch and a few accessories (portable dock, battery bank, etc.)?

My left joycon locking button broke on the first drop and it was in a bag inside another bag inside its own case so I mean did I get a defective one because my switch is not strong at all

I'm only just getting a switch for christmas this year but don't know what accessories to use, can you help me with products I should get that are fairly cheap but durable and accomadate my needs.
I'm planning on getting an extra 2 joycons for games like smash bros. And will also be using my switch quite a lot, maybe 4-5 hours a day, I'm also going to be taking it out and about a fair bit.
A couple if the games I'm planning to get are: legend of zelda breath of the wild, snipperclips, super smash bros. Ultimate and ARMS.

Waterfield Pouch is definitely the way to go if you want to go under the radar. Honestly, every other pouches/cases just attract too much attention. I can't even recommend anyone getting the Waterfield City Slicker either; looks like a women's purse to me. Plus, the Mumba is the perfect protection case in combination with the Waterfield Pouch. With those together, I wouldn't worry about tossing my Switch right inside my bag. And yes, it's a wopping $50 dollars. But, all of the pouches are carefully handcrafted and not mass-produced. There is plenty of longevity and quality in exchange for the hefty price tag. My previous Switch case started wearing down only after 2 months. The Waterfield pouch that I have is going strong even after 8 months.
*awkward reply one year later* so the Mumba heavy duty case fits in the Waterfield Pouch? Doesn't look like it would from the videos but if it does, that's the combo I want.
