You are AMAZING! You bring the Joy, Excitement and Love that I KNOW YOUR GRANDMA GAVE YOU ( I’m a 72 yr. Old grandma!) I am Making This!! LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!❤🎉😊👏👏👍
I LOVE love love this recipe!! I make nuts and bolts every year and it never has enough flavor. I tried this recipe last year and WOW! It is now my go to recipe. I am currently on my 2nd batch in the holiday season because it never lasts long around here. And it is a recipe that everyone asks me for. Thank you so much ❤
I made this with what I had on hand. Sadly I was out of pretzels and garlic powder because pandemic. Had a long day working and was too lazy to brown the butter. Maybe next time. It smells amazing!
I love your enthusiasm for everything! Makes me want to go in the kitchen and try this recipe. I have never made a party mix before but will definitely try this one. How would you store it?
I enjoyed watching your video. I will try and make the party mix and share to them to some friends. Wish me luck - this will be my very first time to make. Thanks!
growning up east coast italian/ chex party mix was never a part of holiday but after watching you it seemed like perfect festive snack to serve with cocktails. Turned out delicious. I added about 1/4 cup of evoo to butter. I added chopped sprigs of rosemary and thyme but left rosemary on stalks mixed in for deco. I also added dry dill to the liquid glaze agree corn chex are good because after season and toast they have a popcorn taste. wheat chex are slightly sweet. I used mini oyster crackers. and pretzel square wafers Didnt use nuts only for some that have allergy but I would use cashew if I did... It was everyting you said ... Sweet tangy crunchy...Good hot or cold
Hi Kaleb! I love your recipes! Can I use CRISPIX instead of CHEX MIX? You substituted CRISPIX in your Glazed Party Mix because you said they kept the crisp better than Chex.
wow when you pulled out the rosemary and thyme i guessed you must have browned the butter earlier and let it sit on the stove for a while, but when you added the worchestershire sauce and it boiled i was retroactively afraid for your fingers that were so close to the ultra hot butter! i was also surprised you moved the butter to the pan with your fingers. i don't like the feel of it so it's always with utensils. i guess the technical term would be i'm a wuss in the kitchen 😀
Great recipe!.....in answer to your query..... 'Worcestershire Sauce' is pronouced 'Wuss' - 'ter', we dont pronounce the 'Shire' part & when we say 'Shire' you often cant here the 'ire' on the end. E.g. we say 'Wuss - ter - shur' or 'York - shur', 'Hampshire' is 'Hamp - shur' and so on, there is probably only a couple of words in this family/group that sound as they are spelt. There are lots of counties that end in 'shire' in the U.K. & it gets confusing😂 thanks to the funny language that is the Queens English!. 🙈👩🎓 Loving all your festive content🌲🎅 Love, Lindsay from Lancashire!🇬🇧
Thanks, my comment was not written to be rude, Caleb has queried how to pronounce it before in other videos as have other You tubers I follow, no big deal to me. My comment was in no way meant to be critical of him....just thought people who are not from the U.K. might be interested & I normally dont comment on such things. I am aware of the fact that many people who are not British, most likely European, American & from further afield pronounce lots of 'English' words/phrases differently and im fine with that. I dont know how to pronounce some places or e.g American/Hispanic surnames etc. I like to learn new, informative sometimes useless bits of information about people, places & culture....no harm being well travelled & read if possible.🙂

I still have the enamel oval roaster my mother used in the 60’s to make Chex party mix. 👍😀💜

My mom made this recipe, too. Thanx, Kaleb, for the trip down memory lane.
Yes, your love of memories is contagious! Thank You so much! 🙏❤️💕🧘♀️🎄🎄🎄Namaste
Love Chex mix! It’s a classic. Add some holiday M&M’s when cooled. Yummy!
I pulled the packets of reese's pieces from the leftover halloween candy to try adding some a little at a time to our mix!
Yes!
It's midnight but mine is in the oven now. Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

I'm so stoked you posted this recipe. Thankyou!! I think you've taken it up a notch. This is going in my recipe box for sure. Yum!!
I was thinking of making a savory party mix for gifts, and you appeared! I'm going to add something with chili for a kick.
BAM!!! Thank you… a definite will-do!!
Makes me hungry🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉❤
Yum love this stuff
Love it. You say worcestershire like me🙄and definitely love to use onion and garlic powders and what a touch with the thyne. Thanks.
Oat squares…funny. My favorite cereal, also! Those would be delicious in the party mix!
We're love this brown butter recipe. We're making another batch today. We have to use up the leftover cereal, nuts, etc....lol
Do you have a cookbook published with all your heritage recipes!!??
This was always called Nutz and Boltz, because of the pretzel sticks and cheerios. 😊❤ I’m making mine this weekend.
I make Chex mix thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m making yours this year
Love your production!
Make this everyone loved it. Thanks for this MERRY CHRISTMAS
Im going to make to give as gifts for christmas

Love this! Thanks for sharing.
Whoosh-ta-sher
Used Life Multigrain cereal. Very sturdy as well. All these recipes are legacy's that have been passed on to us. Carry on to the next generation.
I'm making this mix. My herbs are from my garden but dried.
You just make me feel like Christmas...
Love it
same here...oat squares I eat dry...They were made to eat dry
What size bowl is that you're using for the mix?

I heat up the mix for a bit (maybe 10 min) before adding the butter mixture.. I find easier for coverage
Excellent idea thank you
Love the Worcestershire! LOL.(woos-te-share) with the silent snobby Brithis R if you want. :)
❤️❤️❤️

LOL....funny
gazing good
My family calls Worcestershire sauce, What's-this-here sauce.
Yes mine 2
Budget friendly add in: toast in sour dough croutons.
Chef John sez "wash your sister sauce"!
That’s too funny! 😂😂😂 I can hear him saying that. 😂😂😂
I use Crispix, Cheerios, and pretzels
We say "wash your sister sauce" lol
Caleb, get granulated garlic and granulated onion. It doesn't do that.
On the Worcestershire sauce pronunciation - I am from the UK and it is most completely acceptable to just go ahead and say "WOOSTER" sauce
WOR STIR SHEER please get it right.
Basically Chex Mix with too many ingredients and too many steps.
Get rid of the theatrics!!!
