4:30 can't you just skip the taia baxia stuff and just search moye since you will have ashuna in hand? Having a Baxia in defense isn't all that different from having a monk out and seems to be a waste of resources to me
Personally I think it's beneficial to do, as you now have Moye and tai in rotation. This deck performs best turn 3 and if they don't out the baxia, it's a free summon off tai to combo off again. The adjustment I would make here would be adding emergence off chixiao to then search taia as then you don't have to banish your vishuda which gives you even better follow up.
If you have shatana in hand then it's good to leave monk on board.

You can banish blackout with chixiao and get an extra token when banish blackout. Depends on the situation

In the first combo, baxia is your 5th summon therefore the opp can just nib away the baxia before you even make the chaofeng so how does it protect you from nib?
you basically force the Nib right there, or else they can't use it. Then you can continue extending with your other cards in hand :)
@null Chaofeng is not the 5th summon in this combo
