I love using FLTR on my iPhone X you can get paid packs. But, the one I use is worth it. As long as you use good lighting and a good shot. You can make epic shots stand out with the standard filters.

I feel like when you’re an established business/brand you really don’t have time to do this. While planning/scheduling posts. So I recommend having a professional photographer do this when you get all your content photos back. They’re already edited and ready for your insta pallet

I just stumbled across this video and while I love your content, I am new to it, so with all the respect I just have a question. Why do people use these type of preset filters just to match their brand colors? Isn't it more important for pictures to look realistic? I just stumbled across another page who has lovely brand colors of blue and lavender but then all of her photos have a blue and lavender tint and that's not real life. How is that relatible to an audience when they know that the location where the person is taking the picture doesn't ACTUALLY look like that? I'm really just trying to understand the appeal. Also, isn't social media nowadays about being relateable instead of having a perfectly curated and matchy, matchy feed? Really just seek to understand this logic. If this is the only way to grow or if this is what you have to have esthetically esthetically in order to have an account that's successful then I guess so be it but I'd like to understand better
Such a great question! It's important to understand that as social media evolves, the way we edit or not edit our pictures is also going to evolve. Plus ontop of that every brand is going to have and set their own standards for how they want their photos to look. It's up to that person/brand and that's okay! So while this video, and other videos that talk about editing your feed, might be super helpful and relevant for some, it will be useless for others who prefer not to edit!
I think this year, 2022, is going to be HUGE with authenticity and there will be less pressure to edit photos! I mean, even huge Influencers, TH-camrs and celebrities are posting more raw, organic and film style photos so it's absolutely valued.
For me moving forward, when I edit, I don't want to make anything "fake", I want to enhance what's already there. So if I want my pants to look more blue, I'll make them more blue😁 I like that my photos have the effect that if someone were to come across a photo (without me in it) they can still automatically know, "that's Millie!" because my branding is so consistent

I agree with you that in 2022 so many of us as consumers or audience members want to see more relatable, realistic, raw images/videos. But I also love how you explained the concept of enhancing photo colors vs it being fake. Appreciate your content...you gained a follower in me! 🙏
