Did you put the bearings in the freezer first, I have seen where that helps some to shrink them down a little to aid in the installation of them? Hope to do my soon on my 93 CR250R

Do all the rear wheel bearing kits come with a new retainer piece? Or just this pivot works one u know? Need to do my 2013 crf 250r but dont got the tool so b nice incase i fuk it up getting it out lol
I bought the pivot works rear bearing kit tonight on order think maybe same one you used here , says in their TH-cam video all pivot works kits come with everything to rebuild including retainer, but the vid is over a year old hope they didnt change anything lol find out in a week if needed ill just bring the wheel to a bike shop, the tool here to get in canada cost $32.99cdn dont really want to pay that and wait to order for the amount im gonna need it

Hi, yes that does make quite a difference. I always use that method especially when doing crankshaft bearings when doing a motor rebuild.

Lol.. most kits usually just have the bearings and seals. They do sell the retainer separately too. Hopefully it comes out with no issues.. good luck.
