Unreal to see the scouting piece and details around the hunt like you said! 100% most underrated waterfowl channel, helping me a lot as a new hunter up in Canada.
Just discovered you Chanel ❤ awesome mate what a magical experience! I’m from the uk and the most I have ever had flocking in on a flight is about 50 amazing experience and memories right there keep posting these awesome videos slowly working my way through them
Warm as it still is up north I wonder if they'll ever make it down here. Even if they do, the last few years, they all seem to be east or west. Previous to that, before I retired and had no place close to hunt, skies full of Canada's. Ah well. Glad you got to experience that!! And it was a riot watching and listening to you picking out that one black duck. God bless!
This video popped up in my feed for some reason. Great hunt and footage. I've been lucky to watch huge flocks like this a few times over the last 40 years of duck hunting. Really glad to see that you just sat back and enjoyed the show because at the end of the day, that's what it is all about with your buddies. Most kids your age would want to just kill and limit out instead of enjoying the incredible show mother nature just gave you. Looking forward to the Missouri opener on Nov. 2nd.
That was an awesome show!!!! Watched over a 1000 pintail work a rice field and set down over a 2 hour period once in my life...I won't forget the whistling and the spectacle it was to watch (was snow conservation season, so we just got to watch lol). Had another hunt where I had specklebellies landing everywhere and coming inside 10 yards over the top of my pit once too (day before speck reopened in Louisiana). Fun just to watch them be themselves!!!
Had a similar situation last spring during conservation snow season. Saw a flash of white crazy high up. Was about 200 pintails and they made one swing and bombed into the snow spread. I’ve never seen birds drop altitude so fast. They landed less than 5ft from our layouts. It was so awesome to see. Even if it would’ve been duck season I wouldn’t have fired a shot. Watching them just do their thing naturally was enough for me.
wow, I've never seen so many ducks. Would be amazing to experience that and record it. just wow! duck season starts the 23rd here in Arkansas and I"m super excited!
@ we finally got some rain in the last week or so. It’s been really dry down here. More chances before the season starts and it’s starting to cool off some. Lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s now finally.
Awesome video. I am lucky enough to have experienced this kind of thing several times hunting in flooded rice fields. I have never had it happen in a dry field however. What perfect weather you had to get some great video. I was always in shitty weather except when they were all pigtail, and we could only shoot one a piece. Although it obviously did not matter, if you were to edit out all of the talkig while you had birds working on the deck that would be the best video I have ever watched.
@HokeOutdoors Go to California during late season on a bluebird day. I was across the fence from Llano Seco Ranch on the B and B Ranch. It was frustrating at times because nothing else would be flying, if you could call it that, lol.
Incredible hunt and footage! That Ross kid has got some maturing to do. Good on you for trying to teach him some common duck courtesy. Hope Luke gets his black duck this season.
Hey one quick suggestion you if may…….can you share what your equipment is,with us? for example gun, ammo, shot size, shell length, decoys and cameras? It’s really the only improvement I can see. Even if you put it in like the description or as a part of you intro. Your videos are awesome, keep upthe good work
I think those bigger groups would have worked better without the mojos but that’s just my opinion great hunt otherwise man! The birds that haven’t been shot much will come in to that spread but educated birds know what’s going on.
I’d definitely have be interesting to see how they reacted without them on. We turned them off for the last 30 minutes and didn’t have many birds come in after that but there was also 20K birds sitting in the field behind us
Your videos are awesome and you are clearly an excellent and experienced hunter and killing tons of ducks. One thing that is impossible to miss in your videos though is that you seem to be talking very loudly at virtually all relevant times. I'm sure 75% + of the time the ducks simply can't hear you but there have to be a material number of times when they can and for that reason it just seems unnecessary/inadvisable for you to be speaking that loudly/at all. A few times your voice sounds as loud in the video as your duck call. I'm not trying to hate and think you are awesome, just passing it on for what it is worth because it jumps out at me in every video of yours I have watched.
I appreciate you watching them! I think the GoPro just makes it sound louder than it is. There's no doubt that I've flared birds by talking to loudly before but I think the way those GoPros capture audio makes it seem way worse than it is in the field

Thanks Mike! I really appreciate it. Hope you’re having a great season up there!

Thank you, I appreciate you watching! How's your hunting been over in there this year??
@ to be fair I haven’t managed to get out for a couple of years 😞 I get my shooting fix from watching TH-cam videos these days 😂
Without a doubt the most crazy thing I’ve ever witnessed
Just wait til the corn starts coming off 👊🏻
What a site to see. Seeing all them ducks was awesome good thing the birds out on a show

Thanks Dustin, I appreciate you watching! I hope it’s a great opener and season for you down in Missouri! Seeing many birds showing up down there yet?
A dirt 30 with Hoke. Welcome to the big league boys. Amazing vid, keep them coming.
Thanks Wesley! I appreciate it!!
@@HokeOutdoors Stay on the road if your bring in ducks like that man. Amazing hunt bro
That was epic!!!!
You need your own tv show!!!
Best videos on utube!!!
Makes me want to make a visit to Louisiana to make some hunts. That is one thing I miss since moving to the Philippines. Great video. God bless
I’m from ND and ducks haven’t been feeding much in the morning yet. Just times of specs and cranes. Amazing hunt btw
Thanks brother! Seeing many new birds pushing in up there the last couple days?
Hard to beat that hunt! Nice job guys!
Thanks brother! I don’t think I’ll ever see more birds on a hunt than we saw that night
Great video as always keep em coming!
Much appreciated!!

That was definitely a hunt of a life time. I've had one snow goose hunt like that where they just wanted in the hole and wouldn't be deterred.
Nice show!
Great hunt! Great etiquette! And just think that's just one part of the state. Imagine how many ducks are around shew
Much appreciated! Seems like it was a great year for mallard production up here!

Best of the luck on the opener down there, hopefully we get some weather up north before then! How are things looking down there?

Absolutely the best duck hunting video I have ever seen. You are such a class act.
Thanks Phil! I appreciate you watching!

Thanks Kevin, I really appreciate y'all having me over! Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to stop by again. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
Awesome video! Please keep using the franchi I’m enjoying the long term testing.
Thanks brother! Planning to keep using it through the end of this season at least
Wow! What a hunt!

You saw more ducks in one pass that I’ve seen in my whole life.😂
Nice hunt

Can we get a call tutorial? Great calling!!
Woah that was crazy.
It was the wildest thing I’ve ever seen!

I appreciate you watching! I hope he does too!
Just got some mallards this morning! Anyone got a recipe or recommendations on making these up to eat?
Wow.
Awesome! Vaguely what part of MN are you located at?
Thanks Hunter! I'm over on the west side of the state

Wild one 🤘🏻
Wow! Only could have been better if Leroy was there.
No
I wish I could’ve brought him out! Just didn’t feel comfortable bringing him out since we were hunting out of layouts
Wooooow
Solid video! Crazy to see that
Thanks brother!
What call is that sounds amazing very raspy
Thanks brother! It’s a DRC Harlot
Try next time turning off the flippies… but what an incredible hunt . Can I get in dang!!!
Thanks Kurt! Might try that next time, always heard that field ducks love spinners though
Not my crew finding that feed before and they wouldn’t give us permission and we talked to one of your hunting buddies who was watching it
Womp womp

Wow
What call are you using?
DRC Harlot
Go to Arkansas I hunted there in flooded trees and there’s thousands of woodies red head pin tails and 50k mallards guaranteed
What camera do you use on your shotgun?
It’s a Shotkam Gen 4!
was that duck that landed at 30:31 injured?
No, it was just landing in the spread
@@HokeOutdoors he had a hard landing tho lol
When is the Harlot going to be back in stock
Hopefully within the next month!
Damn and I’m lucky if I can decoy a group of 10 🤣
That’s ducknado
The mallard vortex!
What Is Ross Last name? I think he goes to my school
Man where are you i want to join never been duck hunting and im in MN

Its pretty mutch over . Hunting moose and roedear now
Just probably the worst educating I think I’ve ever seen on TH-cam just why? Sad ethics

I sure was, just got off work and had no time to change😂
