Dust your beef cubes with a little seasoned flour then brown it. As it cooks the browned flour will slough off and become the thickening agent. It will also cook off that 'flour' taste. Also, use diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce. Nice knives!
I got really burned out on the type of content most outdoor TH-camrs were putting out and you have completely turned that around for me. Love the down to earth and natural vibes that come with your videos… it’s fun to watch and even has encouraged me to start making videos of my own again. Colorado, California, Mexico, cross country, Canada, New York and Alaska not to mention the fishing, car purchases, air b&b and buddy trips. Loved fishing with your mom and camping with your parents. Went winter camping 2 years ago with my friend,had a great time. Tiny stove in the hot tent. It worked great. We brought 4 duffel bags of dead,ash. Never got cold. Cooked on charcoal out side. Had a out house 50 yards away. No one else crazy enough to be out there camping. Correct cots and zero sleeping bags. We had a blast. Lots of Crown Royal helped. Thanks for the upload. Keep camping.

Awesome as always. Quick tip from a professional chef. If you thicken warm or hot liquid use a cold thinkener in this case mix the flower with the red wine until smooth and add to the beef bourguignon. That way no more flour lumps. Good luck and Bon Appetit 😊

Yea I find that when I use my Instapot, I have to doubly season because you usually trade depth of flavor for quick cooking time. Plus the steam in there creates more liquid than the stove so it tends to dilute the flavors as well.

pressure cookers don't lose a lot of water so you don't normally need as much as you would stovetop, only thing to pay attention to is if you're making something that has beans or lentils, they can expand and take in a lot of water, but if you don't have dry beans or lentils, the instant pot / pressure cooker will retain a lot of the liquid.
One year out in Colorado on a winter elk hunt I took a plastic tarp and a darn good down sleeping bag and made my bed on a nice soft flat snow bank. It was great but the hardest part was getting out of my clothes and into the bag. All I left on was a t shirt shorts and sox. But I was warm as toast. I loved camping out like that.

Hey buddy! Run a diesel heater in the bug similar to what is in Steve! They put out dry heat to help combat that condensation issue. I have a portable one I run in the back of my truck and in my tent for that reason. Glad to see the bug out on another adventure, and props to you for making your dads dream come true. My son and I drove from Alaska to Upstate New York, all the way through Canada. 5.5 days, in my little Ford Focus filled to the brim and my little dog too, what an adventure! 8 months later I packed my little car again and me and my dog drove to Colorado to live. build a fold up table the hangs and locks on your bed bass. Then have a folding travel chair to sit :) Where the comforter meets the wood holding the bed somehow make tracks underneath to be able to slide a table top out and have feet connected. The feet are adjustable to height once you detach it from the tracks. I'm no contractor or camper but might work for the bug build. Unless you thought of this already then I'm not sure where to add a table or desk :)

Great video, great recipe. Next time if you put the flour in with the bacon and the beef while you’re browning them it’ll soak up the grease coat the meat and create a rue kinda so you won’t get any clumps of flower and it’ll thicken up real nice.

build a fold up table the hangs and locks on your bed bass. Then have a folding travel chair to sit :)
Where the comforter meets the wood holding the bed somehow make tracks underneath to be able to slide a table top out and have feet connected. The feet are adjustable to height once you detach it from the tracks. I'm no contractor or camper but might work for the bug build. Unless you thought of this already then I'm not sure where to add a table or desk :)

I'm just gonna mention that Salvation Army is known to be kind of a not-great charity, they have a history of discrimination and exploitation of their workers. I personally don't donate to them anymore around Christmas, and I like to let people know they're not what they used to be when it comes up. Looking forward to more great videos! Great video, great recipe. Next time if you put the flour in with the bacon and the beef while you’re browning them it’ll soak up the grease coat the meat and create a rue kinda so you won’t get any clumps of flower and it’ll thicken up real nice.
