I've replied to your email, its the same speaker I used, and I've just checked, I didnt extend my wire. Please follow the instructions about the speaker enclosure, otherwise you will only get poor sound.
@@roadsandrails Hi, I have followed the instructions regarding speaker assembly, and replaced the cables so the speaker can sit in its intended location without the controls bulkhead pinching the wires. Happy to report that I can now hear the locomotive and sound levels are acceptable. A link to your helpful video about assembling and gluing the sugar cube speaker should probably be included in every relevant kit that you send out.
The one I just bought is nothing like this. It's too quiet, and the speaker wires aren't long enough to go through the proper channels.
