The father son team behind King Kaiser are amazing. They have a shrine built to Gundam in their house. You can't see it in this, but under the kids coat in a harness system that controls the bots arms. You can see a story about them on Wired Science magazines show currently on hulu. Truly amazing stuff.

With a little bit investment and a huge crowd behind, I don't see why Robot Gladiatorial arena's aren't already huge, If only I had the money, I'd make full size robots fight to the death!

i think mostly remote controlled. well for the smaller red robot definitely mostly remote controlled....first that kid had a remote control in his hands and 2nd, there's no way an autonomous robot could anticipate the 'Monster' robot's attacks that quickly.
