    I like flat black better. I think it looks better than glossy. It matches with the rest of the truck and stands out. In my opinion it looks awesome.
    I already ordered these flares from your ebay link. I will try cutting them in order to keep the stock mud flaps on my truck. Thanks for the video.

    I finally was able to install the flares. My kit didn't come with the metal clips for the front plastic bracket, but I got them from the Advanced Auto Parts. #8 Clips and Screws. It didn't come with instalation guide, but this video helped me to do the installation.
    I used the Edge Trim and Black Bolts from bushwacker because the Stainless Steel ones that came with it don't match with my truck. I am happy with the result.

      @SophisticatedRedneckery turned out awesome but it took me 4-5 hours to install and that bracket into the fender wells was not so straight forward on how it should be attached or which one was left or right and after I stalled them, I could not screw into them. Thankfully, the flares fit tight without it being an issue with no space left open. They fit nice and tight!

    Thanks !

    • @SophisticatedRedneckery
      @SophisticatedRedneckery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have not so far. They are open on bottom edge to avoid this. Ie if you have exposed damage it might rust anyways.

    • @SophisticatedRedneckery
      @SophisticatedRedneckery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tundra is a great
      Truck. Best I’ve had to date. And I’ve had them all but Ram. F150 close second. F250 diesel next. Then the Chevy products a ways back. Just had too many issues with all my gmc products.
      Worst thing about yota’s. The gas mileage sucks. But smoothest riding and hardest pulling truck!! From my experience 👍🏽

    Will this help keep mud from being thrown on the truck from wider tires?

    • @SophisticatedRedneckery
      @SophisticatedRedneckery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it helps a bit if your tires don’t protrude last fender flares. If they stick out. They still minimize it.

The only issue I had was the rear flare by the gas tank got some fuel on it and it is spotted. Make sure to wipe them down immediately. Other than that, holding strong looking good.
