I don't think when toy trains came out 70 years ago, the kids and makers had no idea how popular they would become or that you would need future technology to run them. I want a big layout but not so big I need a computer and a generator. I think I'll use candle lights and flags. This is the view I've always liked. You can actually see how big the layout is and how the trains look

97 digitally controlled switch machines, 110 blocks…this was a BIG layout. Lots of fun

One would have to have some very deep pockets to have something like this custom built for you.

So clean, so neat! I am miles away from anything near this fantastic but this is great motivation! Beautiful layout, wonderfully done! Thanks!

Very much like the rack mounted power and control supply to the layout. It makes such a design so much more accessible and provides ease of maintenance!

Anyone notice the clarity and quality of the lumber used?
As well as the clean craftsmanship to go with it!

Great Progress you are doing on this layout. Hope you can still afford the cost of all model railroad stuff and lumber, etc you need for 2022. Track and switches have really gone up in prices from when I bought all mine for my HO layout years ago. I also worked in a local Train/hobby shop before the COVID hit us in Illinois. Keep up the great work on the layout and thanks for the video. Take care.

Awesome layout. Way too loud though. Those sound decoders need to be turned way down. Shouldn't hear clear across the room like that.
