As a guitar player por 20 years who is playing now bass a few mobths ago, I van say that songs like this 90s classic is making me love thes bass guitar, I cant drop the bass now, I feel like a kid again with a NEW instrument its easy playing the guitar all this years os a blessing but the bass has this groove that you have it or not and this song has it. Great playing!!

I have a 10 watt amp when I got the bass because I was thinking I only needed an output for the sound. You can get pretty much any amp you want depending on what you need. If you are a performer and plan to use the amp on a live performance, one with higher watts would be recommended. But for personal use, lower watts should be good. Check out the Orange Bass 50W amps they're one of the good amps that my friend has recommended.

Btw, this is so nice and you played so well, I used to listen to this song back in high school, it was a nice rock band early on until the lead vox evolved into another genre😅. Rock on, we’ve got something in common actually. Music. I used to record guitars and bass in protools as hobby. Happy “skydiving”…😁

The bass is really heavy, I was about to choose the Ibanez Gio over this one because I have a back problem, but I still ended up buying the Talman because of the many things you can do with it. My bass strap is a padded MONO strap and I'm so glad I bought it because it evenly distributes the weight of the heavy bass. Really convenient for someone who has back pain like me! Thank you for the kind words, I'm just a humble bass novice, makes me smile! 😊

Do you have the tabs for the version that you played? I like watching you play bass because I can see where you hit vs ppl with big hands where I can't see the chords.
Keep it up If you want to be better, you have to: - practice on muting your unplayed strings - practice on your time - practice on your recording tone, try cutting anything below 60hz for beginning :)

I suggest some more practice before putting up a public video. I mean you obviously lack fludity in your play, you leave gaps between places you should be "flowing between" and overall the picking technique is also very flawed. This doesn't mean you are bad, it means you need a LOT more practice. Like we all, until we die :) Nice job anyway.

I just wanted to upload this cover because I was happy I made a little bit of progress, actually just picked up the bass that time and I was just a self taught person learning from TH-cam. No one could really correct my wrong habits. You are right. It takes a lot of practice indeed. And mentoring. Nice job. If I am allowed to, let me suggest the use of a compressor in the signal chain. The sl63x is free and really easy to use.

I love my Fender Rumble 40 watt. I would have considered Orange, but the Fender was less expensive and has great performance.
