Plus, these theater actors have devoted their whole career for acting. I reckon trough dramas, it's a way for them to shine and rise to international levels.
Prison playbook was such a refreshing drama. After watching many kdramas through out the years some times the plots seem similar or extension of earlier plots. But here the plot is fresh, it's very well written, well directed and the actors are phenomenal. You can watch it repeatedly and still love it.
Refreshing! That's the word I've been looking for this drama. It's been a while sincr I haven't laugh so hard and cried so hard for a drama. This drama is just the best so far.
this^ it’s indeed refreshing, i’ve been watching a lot of kdramas (esp romance genre) and some are too tiring too watch (you know when u watch a lot of kdramas some stories are kinda predictable) which made take a break from watching but when i watched prison playbook accidentally (bc i was looking for an underrated drama) it’s like a reset for me. also some casts are new to me which is a bonus plus they’re really really great at acting and the story is very interesting which made me love it.

Kyu Hyung and Sung Cheol really left me big impact with their characters. It really take time for me to move on from Looney's character into his latest. They all did really great. The drama was so amazing. I like everything about the drama

Prison Playbook is one of the best dramas I've seen so raw and authentic was impressed by the massive cast from the major and minor roles they did so well. Who would have thought this kind of drama will touch our hearts so deep. Maybe a one episode special is a good idea gathering all the inmates who has been released. I really felt bad for Looney he's safer inside the cell than outside the prison.

I assumed they were already big names based on the calibre of their acting.. everytime, capturing my oh so short attention span...

i am a kdrama addict and im always in front of the screen watching but it's really rare when i enjoy a show. I didn't expect much at first i thought its gonne be something dramatic and investigation kinda show but i was really surprised after only 30 mintues of the 1st episode i laughed hard every single episode and i had fun watching the show , it has the most perfect cast i can't get over it
