      @@theivyinstitute I bought a packet of Jewel of Opar seeds that I’ll try growing next spring. (It’s too late in the growing season to start them where I am in Canada.🇨🇦)
      By the way, thank you for introducing me to that lovely daisy-like white flower. It’s the one you weren’t sure if you would be using it or not, but in the end you did. (I heard you say it’s name but I’m not sure how to spell it.) I’ve never seen that kind before in my life! Lovely.

      And thanks…it’s lovely to be here! 🇨🇦 I subscribed immediately after watching this video because I’d love to see more of what you teach/do.
      You gave me a very helpful tip to wear all black on the day of the event and blend in when designing an installation onsite, as I’ll be doing in about a month. The other weddings I’ve done have been much smaller and the flowers have just been picked up from my home, where I have my floral studio. I was debating whether to wear a cute floral dress because flowers are a luxury product but your reasons for wearing black/ comfortable/ professional/ functional make so much sense. Can’t go wrong with that, I think! ✨Thank you!💐

      No this base is concrete with a plastic pipe set in place, unless of course its a super windy day, in that case i would insert the branch directly into the soil for stability.

Maybe during the watching you'll be able to see my buckets etc but it was only a couple of bunches per variety from. memory & even less if you group your flowersI do offer full dsign notes with every design within my membership though

    • @theivyinstitute

      thank you lovely, & yes it does have small spiky bits [wouldn't actually class them as thorns] near the base of each frond, but they aren't too much of a problem.

    • @theivyinstitute
      @theivyinstitute  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Jannie, i'm glad you enjoyed it. Pricing really does depend on costs of flowers & a florists individual overheads but a rough ball park for this design would be $850 - $1400 AUD
