- When I was writing this song I took influences from the way couples sweet talk to each other. I wanted to modernize how they spoke to each other but at the same time avoid making the lines too cheesy with the help of melodic tunes. I pulled influences from country and jazz singers on how constructed lyrics and also music.
I want to thank Sheila Her for her amazing vocals.
