This skit was done by Abbott and Costello on radio, movies and television. Each version is a little different, because they didn't have to play to a script they knew exactly where this was going.
Pretty sure they watched it. And then edited parts out to make it shorter...for some reason??? I've seen the bit before, but I/we watch the reaction videos to see the reactions...in search and in hope we'll find people like ourselves that laugh at the same funny parts. I like mama

"Who's on First" was there best routine and some call it one of the best comedy routines ever. It uses a couple common things that make it amazing. Timing and Delivery. They perform it perfectly. Fast dialog and reactions. It is almost too perfect. You might want to check out their movies. Sight gags and quick deliveries with adversarial interaction. My favorite comedy team.
What makes this even funnier a couple of years ago the dodgers called up a player from the minors named Hu (pronounced "who"), he walked in his 1st at-bat quote Vin Scully: "Alright everyone all together now: Hu's on first."

Hands down, my favorite is "Buck Privates". It's a must in any Abbott and Costello collection. This one has the famous "Craps Routine" as well as the best songs, "Three Cheers for Captain Brown" and the Andrews Sisters classic "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". Not to be missed.

This skit is public domain and would not have been blocked due to any copyright! I have watched just about every reaction to this skit on TH-cam, and only ONE other person skipped parts, again mistakenly thinking this particular video would be blocked. You literally ruined the skit by all those skips! It would have been a really nice reaction had you just let the video play! Wow! Total disaster!

There have been a few remakes and things made based on this skit. The movie Rush Hour 2 had a fun skit based on the fact that Hu (pronounced who) is a legit Chinese name.
It's a shame that modern day comedy is not more like that. No nastiness or vulgarity or prejudice of any kind. Nothing but laughs and trying hard to breath! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for playing this video. Thank you. Lotza love for you both.

the most classic of classic comedy bits.. this is so dope to see you ladies checking out! i was born in '95 but for some reason alot of the older tv shows/comedians/musicians have always drawn me in. You really don't need to rely on all the newest stuff to find good material to listen to/watch/react to.

Why has this video been abbreviated, with cuts tearing out much of the Abbott and Costello magic? It would have been so much better had you reacted to a more complete version.
