The fto was japanese only we never got any over here apart from imports so every fto you see is imported also the yellow they come in is a car of the year edition (coty) as it won that in Japan, it's a shame the fto was overshadowed buy the 3000gt because at the time the fto was one of the most advanced cars especially with its learning ecu and tiptronic box 4 and 5 speeds and the 2.0 v6 sounds lovely. The insurance side of things a new driver is looking at over 10k a year but with a few years no claims I pay around 450 for the year so its not to bad, also my names Aiden/aidie but that did make me laugh 🤣 cheers bud 👍
I’m the owner of the MiTo, they aren’t out of an abarth, they were from a Mito initially but I then had them re trimmed in tan leather as you could only ever get them in black alcantara from the factory
@@davidbest1 that’s really interesting that Mito and Abarths have the same bucket seats! I swear there’s even the little Scorpio on the back adjuster 😅
@@jelliking4ng877 it’s a small Alfa logo on the Alfa ones, yeah they’re basically the same seats, the abarth ones aren’t as aggressively bolstered as the Alfa ones tho
@@davidbest1 just had a little look online and they are the same, both manufactured by Sabelt. Makes me wonder what else is similar on the Mitos and the 595s 🤔
@@jelliking4ng877 they’re both made by sabelt, most abarths don’t have the carbon backs and have a lot softer bolsters. Having worked at an abarth/Alfa dealer and owning the mito, I can tell you they aren’t 100% the same, but very similar Other similarities are the brakes front and rear are identical on the Competitzione abarth and QV Mito, the rest is all different tbh, different suspension, engine, gearbox chassis etc
