A 90s Christmas reminded me more of Love Strikes Twice, both good and bad. I didn't get the whole 12 Days of Christmas annoyance thing. I hope Alex Hook doesn't get pigeonholed into playing 90s characters. The past house flipping movies haven't been great, and Deck the Walls really doesn't move the needle. The HomeGoods commercial was pretty egregious.
I liked A 90s Christmas and have to disagree with you guys. I've seen The Family Man ripoffs and, while they're good, they're just that. Lacey did a movie A Family for Christmas that was just like The Family Man beat for beat. I liked this had a twist to it. Also, I wouldn't say its whole message you NEED a man to make you happy or complete, but rather you don't want to be alone. It made it seem as if she pushed her family away too and when she tried to help them and her letter disappeared more that was more upsetting than the guy. So I say look at it as a fable more than anything.
teleplay by Tracey Andreen based on a story by Danny Pellegrino
Thanks
It just says Danny on the imdb now but I'm sure it was some kind of collab
