Holiday Touchdown was really good all the way around. Big-name casting for the family, player cameos, on-location filming (that main st. is in Independence, not a backlot) added to the underlying goodness. And it was good coincidence(?) that Lifetime had their 'inspired by Taylor/Travis' movie (which wasn't half bad) for people who wanted that instead. I liked The Finnish Line more than I thought. Lavi was a bit over the top, esp. since Finns are pretty reserved, but he and Elyse were fun. I wasn't sure if this was filmed in Finland or Iceland since most of the supporting cast seemed to be Icelandic.
I am not into sports at all but I feel the Chiefs film was darn near perfect. Kudos to the screenwriter. Not a fan of the two leads but their roles and chemistry were off the charts. Even though I am not a sports fan, my family are rabid Steeler fans. 😭
