Fun Fact: After they take the car apart following each race they also try to reuse the cars in different races. I’m pretty sure I mentioned this before but I’d thought I’d share this information with you again since you got to see the cars being taken apart for the first time. What races do you plan to go to next year DJ Wayne Adventures? I plan on going back to Road America for next year’s IMSA Race next August, and on the NASCAR side I plan on going to either the Championship Race or the Brickyard 400 next year. I don’t want to plan on going to much races next summer since my main focus is on watching races and the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics essentially since I have some special plans to watch the Olympic Games with some friends of mine. What is your favorite events to watch in the Olympics, both Summer and Winter Games? The International Olympic Committee is also planning on adding MotorSports to the 2028 Summer Olympic Games when the Olympics go back to Los Angeles, so I highly recommend you check it out when the time comes. MotorSports was supposed to be added to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics but for some odd reason they pushed it back to Los Angeles in 2028. MotorSports was apart of the Olympics at 1 point and then the International Olympic Committee wanted to do sports without motorized vehicles.
In response to the Chicago street course race which imo thought it was awesome! I live in Ontario,Canada & we have the Canadian NASCAR Pinty’s touring series in which use to be called the “Cascar Super Series” but was sold in 2007 to Nascar & since since then it started out as the Nascar Canadian Tire Series & then changed series sponsor in roughly 2013 to the Nascar Pinty’s Series. The old “Cascar Super Series” raced on a few street circuits & they still do until present day with racing on a street circuit in Toronto that shares the weekend with the American Indy car series & they’ve been racing there for close to 30yrs now & they race on a street circuit in Québec for many years & an airport road course & they have always been very popular races for the fans. They also race on the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park a.k.a. Mosport road course which is owned by Canadian road course legend Ron Fellows & for awhile there the Canadian Nascar Pinty’s Series was sharing that weekend with the American Nascar Camping World Truck Series + they use to race at “Circuit Gilles Vellenuve” Road Course & now they race on dirt at “Oshweken Speedway” & of course oval tracks. It’s the most diverse & super underrated Nascar series imo & has super talented drivers & they obviously gotta be to race on all those different configurations of tracks. You can watch the NASCAR Pinty’s Series races on TH-cam & live on “TSN.Ca”. You can also watch the old “Cascar Super Series” races on TH-cam as well 🏁
The first one was enough, but he is doing remakes and sequels, so I guess it might be a possibility. Hendricks said after the first one he would never get involved in making another one. However people change their minds. It would attract more new fans to NASCAR more then a Chicago street race will.
Awesome video!!! I have never witnessed one of these Cup garages in full force operations. It's amazing how fast they can get the wrap off the car and get it disassembled in just 2 days after a race.
Hey Jenny. Thanks for Watching & Thanks for watching. Be sure to like my social media pages Facebook. Instagram and / or Twitter as I am posting a few Joey & Forky (Toy Story) Photos on those pages. I will be sure to visit more often.
Gotta say I appreciate the video. Many of us have never been to a shop much less had this level of access. Pretty cool Penske allows this. A camera in the wrong place at the wrong angle can really expose a lot if you know what I mean. Pretty cool nonetheless.
As a NASCAR fanatic, I love these types of inside videos. I live in Darlington so I have been around this sport my whole life. I wanted to be on a team got accepted in NASCAR tech in Mooresville but my ducks didn't align. I am very excited to be attending Atlanta this week should be a blast!! Keep up the good work brother! Hi DJ Wayne and Faith! Another awesome video. If not for you, we wouldn't have known that we could visit Team Penske when we went to Charlotte! Would love to be entered for the Newgarden card. Looking forward to your next video Renee 😊
Hey Renee :-) Thanks for your kind words! Be sure to follow DJ Wayne Adventures on Social Media so you can let us know next time you visit the area and we can let you where to go and when and anything extra to check out as well :-). You are now entered into the drawing GOOD LUCK! DJ Faith says HI!
I didn’t really care for the Chicago Street Race that NASCAR did for the Fourth of July Race, it was a shit show like you said, but at the same time I thought it was an interesting race. A lot of the drivers didn’t care for it either, especially when teams had to do parallel parking to make their pit stops.
I remember the days they let you walk through shops, you just had to stay between the lines and stay out of working ways. You could talk to crew members, crew chiefs, sometimes the drivers would show up.
They still offer some tours of the NASCAR team shops, they just don’t have everything open to the public like they used to. Some teams even offer tours inside the inspection tents and in the engine factory. However in both the engine factory and in the inspection tent the rules say that cameras aren’t allowed
This is an awesome look at the behind the scenes strip. I think that Roger needs to employ another Kiwi Champion SVG, he would be the best investment like Scotty Mac, and he is not called Hamburger....
Hey i have watched nascar racing for decades. I have never seen inside a race shop before, i enjoyed watching your video. I'm not a race car expert just a fan of the sport. Why do they take apart the cars? What do they do and how do they take apart a wrecked car? Interesting video, i will watch some others you have made. Thanks.
@@DJWayneAdventures i’m a mailman in Kannapolis and I live in Kannapolis so I watch these videos because sometimes it’s hard for me to get out to the race shops delivering mail but I appreciate the videos you do put out here… thank you…. Hope to meet u soon
Okay. I have just one question.why take the car completely apart when most likely you would be reusing some of those parts?? I get that with each car there’s a different rules package to go along with it. And with every different rules package comes different parts required But at least some of those parts have to be reused.
That's why they're taking them off and probably transferring it to another chassis. Nascar only supplies a certain amount of parts so you can only have a certain amount of cars as you can probably tell. That shop is pretty empty of cars for a 4 car operation. Looks like each team only has 4 cars each. The main car, the backup and then next weeks car that's getting ready plus a test car so it's probably a lot of transferring of parts from one chassis to the next. Go back to the old car and that shop was probably jam packed with cars. I suppose it saves teams money though having this car be more of a kit car and limiting parts to teams.
Smaller hauler, that rhymes!
I used to do rhyming lots of times as a kid, especially when I read Dr. Seuss books.
The smaller hauler was unloaded a car they haven’t used yet or it must’ve been a test car that they have drivers practice in

I surprised how these shops are so noisy. You would think they would want to cut down on the echo in these garagemahals. Nice video!

Very good
I heard they have to replace the front of the car for Atlanta due to a new front for safety improvements or something ?
Did not hear anything about it just yet! But very possible for sure! Thanks for watching!
Penske Racing gets in everyday they can, reason they're as good as they are in all forms of motorsports that they compete in...
I never imagined they stripped the cars down so much!

😁👍
was that ford mustang body free just sitting there or were they doing something with it?
It was just sitting there when I drove by. I am sure someone wants to do something with it.
I wonder if the car they pushed off that trailer was the ford mustang wheel force car they use at the tire test ..,,
Could be. For Sure.
How do they get the wrap stripped off so quickly?
Happy 4thof July 🏁

as an outsider to nascar why is the car stripped so far down after is race??? dose the same chassis not do more than 1 race????
What do the teams do with the parts they strip off the cars? Do they reuse those at all of get rid of them?
Josef is my favorite Indy driver
Well Hey! Get in that drawing! You might just win the autographed photo.
its a Mustang !
Yes Yes it Is!

do they always tear them down, or because its a street race car and they will not have another for awhile.
