Last month, thanks to the inspiration from your channel I actually created my first two historically inspired pieces of clothing! Wore them so far only one time, but well, better to start slowly

Thanks for sharing your wardrobe! I've been wearing 12-14th century inspired clothing for many years now, every day. I'm not into fashion, but prefer comfort and function and these early styles are, well, me! Last winter I wore a cotton flannel chemise under wool dresses, even when it was well below zero and was never cold. Our ancestors knew what they were doing! Keep up the good work!!

How do you deal with going inside places? I like to wear 1930’s and 1940’s styles a lot and when I wear one to church I practically burn up in winter and freeze in summer. When you dress for the weather and then go in a climates controlled building its hard!
@@Diniecita Yeah it can be tricky! I say wear layers. So have a blouse, and then perhaps a waistcoat and a jacket too. With 30s and 40s they wore a lot of knits, so having one handy helps. Also choosing the right materials that’ll be temperature controlled. I find having your base layer be made of linen extremely helpful and then having natural fibres on top as they breathe much better.

I wore essentially a Victorian Corset for 7 years - 23/7/365. I LOVED it! Your comment about helping with workload was spot on, not to mention forcing good form for lifting (dead-lift style). There is a late Victorian/early Edwardian look that I adore, and I’ve toying with doing a complete 180 on my wardrobe to get back to wearing my corset. You have inspired me in so many ways! Thank you 🙏
I dream of wearing historical clothing to, but because I am a teenager I don't know how my mum will react to me starting to wear this type of clothing. So I am kind of scared to try. But I feel like other clothing styles don't suit me and I feel uncomfortable wearing them. It's very interesting to learn about your journey and how you started wearing this clothes. Thank you for sharing it with us❤❤❤
I have to say that riding habits always look the most elegant but your 'history bounding' (not heard the phrase before yourself) is fantastic and I've always mixed and matched different historical elements in my own personal style, when not having to present a certain business persona for work.
Thank you very much! Historybounding is definitely a great way to nurture one’s self-expression but in a more “toned-down” way I suppose, which sometimes can feel necessary.
I enjoy the Art Deco 1925-1930 era with the flapper dresses and fine silk dresses such as Jean Harlow wore in her early talkies. You can still find some beautiful pieces of Art Deco jewelry as it is more plentiful than the Victorian era.
Yes Art Deco jewellery is beautiful, it's not an era I enjoy the fashion of though unfortunately, as I just feel far more comfortable in Victorian and Georgian clothes 😊 It's still a beautiful era nonetheless. I have a bit of art deco jewellery actually, in particular earrings, as some of the styles can be used alongside Victorian ensembles as well as they can have very traditional cuts at times.
What a fabulous location with all those woodland irises! How charming. :) I’m so happy to hear about you and your historically inspired clothing. You seem to really enjoy your wardrobe, and that’s fun and inspiring. :)
I've started wearing Norse/Viking era clothing. Everyday. I bought a real Swedish reproduction 100% Baltic linen made tunic and belt from real oxhide and black chinos and just black boots as I'm saving up for historically accurate boots reproduced after finding burials in Europe with shoes and boots as a base.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful wardrobe with us. I'm drawn to historical fashion too, so I very much enjoyed seeing your unique and personal style. I found nothing at all 'cringey' about any of this video. I think it's completely lovely.
I'm two years late to this video, but I would just like to say that I don't find anything about this video cringey. I totally understand the way things can feel cringey when one does them, if this was me and it was my video I probably would have said the same thing. You are stunning and look so natural in your historical clothing! I hope I will as well when I start to incorporate historical fashion into my daily life. Thank you for all your amazing work!
One of my favorite things about this channel is she is advocating inherently for more conservative modest clothing for women. I hope this channel blows up. As a guy I hope to begin to wear if not historical more upscale clothing soon, suit and tie. Formality and modesty never goes out of style
I’m actually deeply against forcing conservative and modest clothing onto others. I believe in choice. I support my friends who choose not to dress modestly and vice versa. What I’m actually inherently advocating for, if you truly listen to what I’m saying or what I constantly talk about, is the freedom to choose and for people to be able to express themselves creatively. I’m deeply progressive in my beliefs.
@@VBirchwood hm. Maybe advocating was the wrong word ma'am. I didn't mean to imply anything about your political beliefs. To give context, in the country where I live, imo American/Western culture praises promiscuity, especially on TV and ads, very sexual imagery all the time, it's bombarding! So on the other hand I think it's a great thing for young women to have a role model on this platform (you) who is saying and modeling that you can look beautiful without showing lots of skin! I think that's a really positive thing what you're up to :) at least showing the other point of view
this was a great video vasi! it was really lovely to be able to see all your clothing and how you put ensembles together, and your voiceover was very nice to listen to👏🏻 also really appreciate the filmatic shots in the woods🙌🏻😍
Yes, very enjoyable, please keep sharing your favorite outfits, different pairings, for example if you find something great to go with one of your walking skirts etcetera. I would enjoy knowing how you discern if am item is a good value and quality. Its especially hard online. So, hearing how you find reputable shops for clothing, materials and accessories, is always good to hear about. You are a delight-
Ah that’s a great idea to explain how to recognise quality! I’ll add that to my suggestions list, thank you. I’m planning to starting doing more short pairing style videos (probably little lookbooks) so stay tuned for those 😊
What a delightful video! I really enjoyed seeing all of the lovely outfits you have made.....by hand! Wow! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work 🧡
Your wardrobe is lovely! That green riding dress is beautiful. I'm slowly learning to make historical clothing, very slowly. It's been so fun watching my wardrobe grow.
I am a student of history but I have no interest in fashion or sewing. I watch this channel every once in a while for one reason-You are the very definition of classy! Keep it up. You look great and should be an inspiration to others especially young girls who need to be shown an alternative to the low class, streetwalker fashion with everything exposed that is now the general rule. THANK YOU.
I love the purple green fit too Used to have a beautiful coat in a deep green with a big olde hood and mantille which was lined with lilac silk or silk like material It's one of my all time favourite colour combos tbh Beautiful!
Your garments are lovely. I too am now embarking on a journey to include historical inspired into my daily wardrobe. They will not be a direct replica but only an inspiration yet watching your video makes me want to do this even more. Thank you for the inspiration.
Aww thanks so much Regina! I really appreciate it! My wardrobe has changed so much now already in just a year, it’s always a work in progress haha. I wish you all the best on your own historical fashion/historical inspired journey!
Not sure why I was recommended this video but I watched it out of curiosity. Really well done, both the clothing part and the outdoor segment. And instantly likeable host. I know this is quite the niche subject but I wish your channel all the best.
The plum brown ensemble with the hat is absolutely stunning on you! It just fits you so well and I mean the overall mood and color, and the hat! I love the hat, chef's kiss😙👌
love all the capes and caplets. wish i could wear the same, but the space is already taken by shoulders!! just beautiful, beautiful clothes, blue and green used together is not very common.
When I discover channels like yours, I'm surprised to see so few subscribers, but glad because it feels like supporting a small business; more personal, wholesome! However, hope you get all the success/popularity you can use.
Thank you so much! The channel has honestly grown so much, but growth can often take time ☺️ it’s nearly 2 years now since I started this channel so it’s still “early days” TH-cam wise haha
Well I gotta mention that I think Disney in general is a topic to be critical of esp in terms of the depocted clothing but some aesthetics just stick and are part of pop culture Even more interesting if you dive deep into the term history bounding I love nods and odes to styles that people love and I've always liked the idea of someone falling i love with someone else despite the society's marginalisation so maybe that's why the association popped up Anyways, what I want to say is I love your outfits and attitude and it is really inspiring So thanks very much And keep going, you're doing great 👍
I love the way you make your videos! There's a softness and gentleness in the way you deliver them and with the beautiful music they are very soothing to watch. I love your wardrobe. Thank you for sharing it. I am currently making a chemise and a regency corset which I need to do a 2nd toile for to adjust fit and I have also, just commissioned a stays pattern to be drafted using the arc method fitting my measurements so hopefully I can have them completed in a few months and begin making my 18th century clothing. I plan like yourself to wear my clothing most days and I feel very inspired after watching your videos. Thank you for making them.
Thank you so much, Robyn! That's very kind of you to say. That's very clever of you to have the stays pattern drafted to get that perfect fit. It's wonderful to hear as well that you want to wear them most days. I definitely do recommend it if it's what your heart wants, though of course, I might be a little biased 😉 I wish you the best of luck with continuing to build up your wardrobe and crafting a collection of clothes that supports your full self-expression 😊
I have no idea how I ended up here, but here we are. I was watching videos about motorcycle racing, guns and listening to some classic rock and hip hop. Next thing I know you popped up on my recommended videos and, well, you looked cute as hell in your vintage dress so I decided to see what you were doing. I watched a few of your videos since last night; finding time to sew, benefits of wearing historical clothing, sticker phobias, and now this one. Again, I have no idea why I am hooked all of a sudden on historical fashions (though I do love history) but I really enjoy listening to you talk about something you are so passionate about. Gotta love that. As far as your wardrobe is concerned - now that I have watched a few of your videos I am now somewhat of an expert on vintage styles so here's my two cents. 4:53 is very cute and I love how it fits you. It looks comfortable and very springy - the season, not the bouncy thing. 8:12 is very stylish and the white collar really looks nice in contrast to the rest of the outfit. However, my favorite is 7:46. I think it's because it immediately reminded me of Olive Oatman. If you go to her Wikipedia site, you will see a photograph of her in a dress very similar to what you are wearing. If you've never heard of her, she has an incredible story of survival under some very difficult circumstances. Her face was tattooed by her kidnappers and in the photo of her wearing that similar dress, you can clearly see the marks they left on her. I think that's one of the reasons her story stands out for me - the contrast of a beautiful woman in her sophisticated and fashionable dress, still marked by a time in her life that was brutally cruel. I remembered her photo not because of the dress she was wearing, but because her strength made it and her life worth remembering. Your enthusiasm, grace, class and sense of style apparently keeps me coming back for more. In other words, I'm not here for the vintage fashions. I'm here because you bring fashion to life.
Not ridiculous at all! My MA in is Creative Writing, so I understand needing references from various sources. Thanks so much for your comment and I'm glad that this video is helpful 💕
Truly stunning pieces, and it's so interesting to see your wardrobe! Thank you for the peek "behind the scenes", I feel like this type of video is not usually seen which makes it all the more interesting. :)
@@VBirchwood Haha that makes sense!! I'm new to the channel so I've been watching old videos too. :) I think it's great that you have continued to expand and refine your wardrobe--that is something I find difficult, and I know it takes a lot of time, funds, and work. Thank you for sharing your historical dressage perspectives with us! :)
Beautiful!! I used to sing for the opera here in New Zealand so this was really special. I also love to sew! The clothes were really so pretty! Do you wear the clothes out? What sort of reaction do you get? Are they wearable in todays world? What got you into deciding to dress in them? 💞💞💞
I totally get that historical fashion has its benefits over modern stuff. For example no plastic and oilbased fabrics only natural fabrics. Easier to repair and if the shape of the own body doesn't matches with the clothes it is easier to alter them to the own needs. But I'm not at all into fashion for me clothes serve different purpuses, they keep me warm, they have bags to carry small things, they protect me from cuts and scratches if I work or go through thorns in the woods and they prevent that anyone is offended because I'm naked. Purpuses that they don't have to fullfil in my eyes is to look good. A hat for example has its purpuse it shields my head and eyes from the sun. On rainy days they keep my hair try. If I'm in an enviroment where the risk is given that anything falls into my hair or neck a hat will prevent that, but all this doesn't need a feather attached to the hat. Same with any kind of jacket it needs as much buttons as it needs to keep it closed and maybe on each sleeve one to keep the sleeve thight but no extra row of buttons just for the looks. But these are all critics that also are for modern fashion there is too much that has form over function but I would prefer function and nothing extra.
Thank you! It’s probably my least favourite thing I’ve made, and it’s the first proper garment I ever sewed (besides a chemise) so that could also be why! Haha
Thank you so much! I highly encourage you to learn. It’s easier than you might think and there are free resources on TH-cam and the internet in general. You don’t even need a machine as alterations can all be stitched by hand 😊
Thank you! This video is nearly 2 years old now, so my wardrobe has changed a lot, especially since now I’ve been sewing for longer, but it’s nice to look back on what it was like 🥰
i love all of your videos they are so helpful and complete and i now have confidence to try to make clothes,my first is going to be petticoat, and i wear my dresses and my skirt a lot now,am finishing a purse for mom and then on to petticoat,
Thank you Ompe8!! The design of the bicycling sweater was so cleverly made, and perfectly in line with the gigot sleeves that were fashionable in the 1890s. 😊It's cool how the Victorians could mix their fashionable trends with sportswear.
whats important is what makes you happy and feel confident! its kind of annoying that we can't dress up in full historical without people asking if we're in a play or why we're wearing it.
Hi Victoria, I absolutely LOVE that you have the I-don't-care-what-others-think attitude and love of historical clothing so much that you wear historical clothing every day!! What do you do for work? Does your boss, or whoever you answer to at work, encourage this for you? I'm retired from my main profession and now can pursue my passion, sewing, as much as I am able given my other commitments (family, caring for grandchildren, etc.) I make many things as gifts for my family and I also make all my own all natural, organic skin care products, and also some for my family and friends who like to use this type of products for themselves. I made for myself a 1575 dress and all undergarments that go with it. I am now taken with the 1875 Victorian garb so am in the process of making several (numerous??) dresses for this time period. You have helped me have the courage to wear them out for everyday errands, which is the only time I get out, as my husband is disabled (heart, not mobility) and doesn't go out of the house much. But this is a season in my life and maybe at some future point I'll be able to wear them more. For now I'll continue to sew!! Your videos are GREAT!! I'm a loyal subscriber! Thank you for putting them out! Also could you point me in the direction of some reliable websites that sell antique jewelry, parasols, clothing, etc.? Thanks!
Hi Sue! Thanks so much. My name is Vasilisa (Vasi) though, but lots of people think it’s Victoria because I wear so much Victorian fashion! Haha 😅 I work remotely as a private contractor so my primary client I work for supports it, and I’m grateful to have a lot of freedom when it comes to my job and what I wear. That’s so lovely to hear that you’ve fallen in love with historical fashion too and are sewing it also! For antiques, I would recommend eBay. You have to be pretty dilligent and train your eye with what to look for but it’s by far the best place to find deals, or in person estate sales can be good too. Thanks so much for being a loyal subscriber! I appreciate it 🥰
@@VBirchwood Oh my goodness! SO sorry Vasi! I thought I read somewhere that your name was Victoria. My bad. But thank you for your reply and helpful directions. You are truly blessed to have a job that allows you to wear anything you like! I was in medicine for 40+ years so...not much freedom there! I will continue to follow you and live vicariously through you😉!!
There are also many things people of any style fashion can take out in this video. I am dressing like myself rather than being historically accurate. It is a privilege of living today that we can combine things in the history. I have been dressed in 1950's and earlier style clothing. I use bun roll and linen petticoat to comfortably add volume in summer instead of using polyester clinolines.
All your clothes are so beautiful! Do you do something history related for a job? I imagine history bounding could somewhat get in the way of a non historical job.
Thank you so much Katie! At the moment I'm an MA student, but before I worked remotely, and will resume that type of work once my degree is done. I'm definitely in a position of privilege when it comes to being able to have the freedom to wear historical clothing every day, and it's unfortunate that employers potentially would look down upon others for dressing more archaic. It's ironic too because this style of dress used to be what was socially acceptable and now it is the opposite lol.
@@VBirchwood QUOTE "was socially acceptable and now it is the opposite" & " employers potentially would look down " I think you may be jumping to conclusions. Naturally, I can not speak for all employers, but I think many employers would appreciate your individualism and creativity.
It certainly depends on the industry. In the service industry for instance, which is what I worked most of my teens and early 20s, anything out of the ordinary (even coloured hair) would not be allowed. Also in many office and corporate jobs, anything deemed “distracting” is often not allowed.
@@VBirchwood - You said you were doing an MA - so I was kinda thinking more of a professional setting. And re "many office and corporate jobs, anything deemed “distracting” is often not allowed" - it entirely depends if the company wants individuals with talent and creativity or just robots fulfilling a task. My point is, there are companies that would immediately White you if you turned up to an interview in a historical outfit cos they are looking for that type of person, someone who "thinks outside the box" and all the other cliches... I think there would be many companies where it would be welcomed. I have certainly worked for several.
@@VBirchwood - I am impressed that you worked while studying, this does not appear to be the norm in the UK any longer. May I ask what the subject of your MA is? What career you are hoping for?

I dream of wearing historical clothing to, but because I am a teenager I don't know how my mum will react to me starting to wear this type of clothing. So I am kind of scared to try. But I feel like other clothing styles don't suit me and I feel uncomfortable wearing them.
It's very interesting to learn about your journey and how you started wearing this clothes. Thank you for sharing it with us❤❤❤
I’m intrigued by how many of these are so sculptural when compared to most current mainstream fashion designs. Excellent video!
I love that you wear bright colors, they look so good on you❤
I have to say that riding habits always look the most elegant but your 'history bounding' (not heard the phrase before yourself) is fantastic and I've always mixed and matched different historical elements in my own personal style, when not having to present a certain business persona for work.
I really enjoyed your wardrobe, it all was lovely! I admire you so much for wearing these clothes for everyday! Thank you for the video!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful wardrobe with us. I'm drawn to historical fashion too, so I very much enjoyed seeing your unique and personal style. I found nothing at all 'cringey' about any of this video. I think it's completely lovely.
As a crochet enthousiast, I would love to see you do something on the history of crochet! Love your work, thank you so much for sharing ❤️
4:57 That blue and white suits you very well. Spring like.
this was a great video vasi! it was really lovely to be able to see all your clothing and how you put ensembles together, and your voiceover was very nice to listen to👏🏻 also really appreciate the filmatic shots in the woods🙌🏻😍
Thank you so much Jae!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the outfits and the video. I'm so grateful for your continued support!! 💕
THAT BLUE is just stunning...
Thank you! It is one of the best colours (in my opinion).
Very feminine designs, and I appreciate your desire to preserve that lost quality. Your wardrobe offers a lovely presentation of who you are.
Wow! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work 🧡
Thanks so much Karen! 🥰
The setting under the tree and the music are well chosen!
Your wardrobe is lovely! That green riding dress is beautiful.
I'm slowly learning to make historical clothing, very slowly. It's been so fun watching my wardrobe grow.
Thank you so much! 🥰 watching your wardrobe grow is truly very rewarding
Glad to see someone with the confidence to wear tasteful clothing in daily life.
THANK YOU.
I love the purple green fit too
Used to have a beautiful coat in a deep green with a big olde hood and mantille which was lined with lilac silk or silk like material
It's one of my all time favourite colour combos tbh
Beautiful!
I love the elegance of the clothing prior. I would not mind at all to see the modern fashion go away and the historical return.
You look so good in all of them! Your very classic beauty suits historical dress so well!
I love that plum silk taffeta 1860’s gown! Those accessories really make it!!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Not cringey at all, but completely fabulous x
Thank you 😊
Gorgeous wardrobe, and it suits you so well!
I love that you have the guts to be you and show people that modern aint What we must be or wear ..guess your an old soul stay unique blessed be
Thank you 😊
thank you for citing your patterns, now i know where i can go to make stuff like this too 🥺
Makes me want to wear my kilts and other 1700-1800s clothes more
All I know is that you have talent, alot !! And you look fantastic!!
I did enjoy this very much ✨
Thanks for the tour ✨
Just watched again, so lovely
This is fascinating. I admire your dedication to creating and wearing clothing that’s pleasing to you, and pleasing to the viewer as well.
Thank you very much Gail!
love all the capes and caplets. wish i could wear the same, but the space is already taken by shoulders!! just beautiful, beautiful clothes, blue and green used together is not very common.
Well I gotta mention that I think Disney in general is a topic to be critical of esp in terms of the depocted clothing but some aesthetics just stick and are part of pop culture
Even more interesting if you dive deep into the term history bounding
I love nods and odes to styles that people love and I've always liked the idea of someone falling i love with someone else despite the society's marginalisation so maybe that's why the association popped up
Anyways, what I want to say is I love your outfits and attitude and it is really inspiring
So thanks very much
And keep going, you're doing great 👍
I love the way you make your videos!
I definitely do recommend it if it's what your heart wants, though of course, I might be a little biased 😉
I wish you the best of luck with continuing to build up your wardrobe and crafting a collection of clothes that supports your full self-expression 😊
You have some gorgeous clothes! I definitely would love to try some light historybounding!
Thank you! Light historybounding is a great way to spice up a wardrobe 😊
9:30 blue outfit by far favorite so far. If I'm correct the Victorians also saw blue as a lady like colour
Very cool. I really respect your authenticity
Thank you, Stephen! That’s very much appreciated.
Loving this! Don’t really need to comment, just trying to ‘help’ the algorithm along, because you deserve more viewers!
Ahhh thanks so much Sarah! I really appreciate it 😄
I have no idea how I ended up here, but here we are.
With every piece you showed, i was more and more inspired by you and your wardrobe, Im so glad i discovered this amazing channel ❤️
Awww thank you so much Rox!
Just loveeee all of it!!
The first look is giving Beauty twinning Beast's outfit
OMG FINALLY! I’ve wanted to see this for so long
Hey Justyna!! Glad your wish was finally granted 😊 Hope you enjoyed it!
Very enjoyable! Have you made a video(s) about your footwear and stockings?
It's ridiculous but I LOVE this video as references for my fiction!! It helps so much!! You look lovely!!💖💖
Not ridiculous at all! My MA in is Creative Writing, so I understand needing references from various sources. Thanks so much for your comment and I'm glad that this video is helpful 💕
Who else is here for her calming voice?
I adore your riding habit so much I cannot even put it to words.
Awww thank you so much! I was really proud of this one after I made it I remember (it’s been probably nearly a year now) 🥰
GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!
Hello, I am just finding your channel.. and love it already! I particularly love the 1860s.. so I was really enjoying it when you wore 1860s fashion.
How glad I am to have found your comment on that medievalized Eminem video!
Welcome to the channel! I'm so happy to have you here 😊
I didn’t cringe once. 😋 Love the light blue flower dress @5:00.
Amazing !! 🤩
Truly stunning pieces, and it's so interesting to see your wardrobe! Thank you for the peek "behind the scenes", I feel like this type of video is not usually seen which makes it all the more interesting. :)
Thanks for watching! Since this video is pretty old now, my wardrobe has changed A LOT but some pieces I still continue to wear 😊
But these are all critics that also are for modern fashion there is too much that has form over function but I would prefer function and nothing extra.
i really love the regency day gown tbh
Thank you! It’s probably my least favourite thing I’ve made, and it’s the first proper garment I ever sewed (besides a chemise) so that could also be why! Haha
I loved the video. I wish I knew how to alter clothes.
Thank you so much! I highly encourage you to learn. It’s easier than you might think and there are free resources on TH-cam and the internet in general. You don’t even need a machine as alterations can all be stitched by hand 😊
Thanks for sharing this! Correct I have been wondering how you have enough clothes to wear full time historical :)
Esp love the 1860s plum dress 😍
Thank you! This video is nearly 2 years old now, so my wardrobe has changed a lot, especially since now I’ve been sewing for longer, but it’s nice to look back on what it was like 🥰
You look amazing in every single Piece of your Wardrobe 🥰
Thank you! 😊
Awesome wardrobe
Thank you! 😊
i love all of your videos they are so helpful and complete and i now have confidence to try to make clothes,my first is going to be petticoat, and i wear my dresses and my skirt a lot now,am finishing a purse for mom and then on to petticoat,
U r so beautiful n ur work is so unique... Like sm university art historian.. but much more than that
I am working on my first set to wear! Thank you for being an inspiration!
Goodluck on your set! 😊
I really liked a number of your outfits, but the bicycling sweater outfit is so cute!!
Thank you Ompe8!! The design of the bicycling sweater was so cleverly made, and perfectly in line with the gigot sleeves that were fashionable in the 1890s. 😊It's cool how the Victorians could mix their fashionable trends with sportswear.
Lovely!!
whats important is what makes you happy and feel confident! its kind of annoying that we can't dress up in full historical without people asking if we're in a play or why we're wearing it.
Hi Victoria,
I absolutely LOVE that you have the I-don't-care-what-others-think attitude and love of historical clothing so much that you wear historical clothing every day!!
Love your wardrobe. Such beautiful pieces that look lovely on you.
Thank you!! 😊
Awesome!
Your clothes are absolutely beautiful
Thank you 😊
There are also many things people of any style fashion can take out in this video. I am dressing like myself rather than being historically accurate. It is a privilege of living today that we can combine things in the history. I have been dressed in 1950's and earlier style clothing. I use bun roll and linen petticoat to comfortably add volume in summer instead of using polyester clinolines.
It’s so wonderful that you’re dressing like yourself! 🥰
@@VBirchwood QUOTE "was socially acceptable and now it is the opposite" & " employers potentially would look down "
I think you may be jumping to conclusions.
Beautiful clothes and a wonderful dedication to what you love and enjoy!
Thank you Mel! I greatly appreciate your kind comment 😊
