Hi and thanks for your question! 😃 the driest month according to data collected is July, but it’s also quite cold, if you’re interested in skiing and winter sports then it’d be a great time to visit, but it’s also gonna be crowded throughout the whole ski season (June to September). Personally I’d recommend visiting in November as you can also see the beautiful lupines everywhere. And the weather is also getting warmer. For Milford Sound, we went there during this trip too and it was a sunny day, but the downside of that is there were a lot less waterfalls, we only saw one :( so it’s not a bad thing at all to visit Milford Sound on a rainy day (tbh it’s rainy most days anyway) A video of Milford Sound will come up very soon and I’ll share more details in it so stay tuned 😉 I hope you find that helpful!
