People don’t think of alcohol as a drug but it’s one of the most dangerous out there. I know so many more alcoholics than drug addicts but society accepts them more.
My dad had a cousin that drank a six-pack for breakfast each morning; one day, he ran out of beer, drove to the mini mart and they found him in the parking lot slumped over the steering wheel. He died from liver failure - my father likes to joke that he "died of thirst."
I know a friend of mine since she was little and now she's grown up now. A month ago she was involved in an accident at the time she was driving drunk and killed one of her friends.
My parents both struggle from alcohol abuse. My dad was rushed to the hospital 5 years ago because his body was shutting down and nobody knew why. It was found out later that his liver had given up and he was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. I saw alcohol as something cruel from that day on. I promised myself to never get drunk or try to or just drink for fun cause it has serious consequences. Not only that but alcohol led my father to so drugs as well.
I've felt this way since I started drinking at age 15. But it was always "easier" to get drunk and obviously more socially acceptable so it became a MEAN habit.
I am also addicted to ( beer) until now.i try avoiding people who talk about it and ( drink).when the craving come whispering..i do things that was fun except drinking.i still have my beer somehow..but only 3 can per week if any.still trying to stop the habit.
Such a true video. The danger of alcohol needs to be reflected in it's categorisation. I'm not saying marijuana is totally safe or should be legal, but alcohol is a far more damaging substance and should be regarded as such. I perosnally believe shop keepers or any other vendors of alcohol are as bad as people on the street pushing hard drugs.
The alcohol is always about us knowing our limits. But I'll never recommend to a person who changes into different & rude personality. I've been drinking from past 11 years but once or twice a month and can't call it an addiction. I don't have the feeling of the immediate need.
IF alcohol was discovered today, there is NO way that it would be legal! I spent 15 years (AT LEAST) as an alcoholic. evenntually after MANY attempts to quit, I discovered heroin, and accidentally quit drinking......Then I had 6 years of H addiction before I managed to quit that 3 years ago. I have an occasional beer now, but I'll NEVER touch spirits ever again. Or H for that matter!
Is it even possible to gift the hindsight expressed here to a 12 year old person? I don't think 12 year old me could even grasp the pain on display here...
Satan will always make a way. He'll make sure you have internet, he'll make sure you have money, beer, crack, lsd, marijuana whatever. Just say no. Choose Jesus :)... 7:26; that dude got a buttchin.

Alcohol can kill you and it’s legal meanwhile weed’s never killed anybody and it’s illegal in most of countries: WTF!? I’ll never gonna get that!

it becomes an addiction when you schedule your entire life around it....and it is a priority among everything.
