After watching all these videos of pizza in Naples, I realize that I have never had real pizza in my entire life! Sitting here eating NY style pizza and so bummed out!

NY style is real pizza, bud. It's just a different expression of it.
I promise you that in NYC you can get way better pizza experience than Naples lol. You can find all the same style of pizza in this video from authentic Italian pizzerias but also all the American styles like Tavern, NY, Deep Dish, Pan, thin crust, etc. Much more variety and still lots of high quality available.

Probably the last place was the best. I've done the same in 2018. Went to Naples and try some pizza. Different places though. But since then I'm in love with Naples pizza. That was when I start watching you!

I’m certain every pizza was delicious, they all were masters and a joy to watch . Sometimes people debate on the toppings, which are the easiest part to source. Making Pizza or bread dough is where the magic starts. On Roberto’s cream and ham pizza, was that potato through the ricer? Clever idea versus potato slices.

You lucky devil! :-D I was lucky enough to be born in Naples when my dad was in the US Navy. Only 2 when we came back to the States, but I have been back several times. I think it was 2007, I had a list of the "top 10" pizzerias in Naples. I basically went to as many as I could and just ordered a Margherita so I could try to compare them. They were all awesome but I have to say I tended to favor the pizzas from the city center. Maybe it was in my head, maybe its the age of their older ovens, maybe their doughs are just so slightly different... All I'm saying is, if you go to Naples and get pizza, you will not be disappointed.

Pizza is not italian dish, it' s napoletana. So outside naples there are just a few of good place for pizza. The others are not pizza.

I was stationed in Naples in the early 1970s on the USS Hammerberg DE-1015. My wife is 1/2 Italian, so she enjoyed living and shopping there. I've got pizza dough rising right now using one of Vito's pizza recipes.

Different shops, different crust. It all comes down to taste. If the ingredients work together there is success. Everyone has a different interpretation/version of the same pizza.

The one where your friend said this is not pizza this is the only pizza. Was curious as to the item he put on, was that mashed potato? Thanks for another terrific video
