Love that L9 sound! I have a couple questions on the newer Allisons. How can you make the newer Allisons shift at high RPM's every shift? Do you have to put the transmission in performance mode or something? Why do the newer Allisons shift normally at lower RPM's? I'm trying to get my trash driver to have his truck to shift at high RPM's for me on my route. (It's a 2014 Autocar ACX with a Cummins ISL9 and Allison 4500 RDS). I don't like it when it shifts at low RPM's. For me, the best sound of a Cummins L9 is at high RPM's. Please let me know ASAP.
Best buses in the DASH fleet IMO. Love that high pitched drone of the Gilligs combined with the beautiful Cummins L9 sound
