Absolute carnage at Mullaghmore. It has got to be the most challenging but rewarding big wave barrel in the world, if you can make it. Most of the other big wave slabs you see (Shipsterns, Chopes, Ours) are quick barrels and then you're spat out. Mully just keeps on heaving and churning all the way down the line. Respect to the hell-men giving it their all.
You need air conditioning in Ireland for a few weeks a year at most. So that means the vast majority of houses just don’t have it. Open a window and turn on a fan is about all you can do.
Power is a common Irish surname. And Patrick (Paddy) is a common first name. There’s a huge bookmakers company called “Paddy Power” and it is the owner’s actual name.
Cheers to the hard-chargers who storm into that cold, foamy, emerald green beast! The reward for the unfortunates that fall is a seemly endless spin-cycle....The age-old spirit of man-against-the-sea is fully alive and well in Ireland. Thanks to the vid creators. A great watch, quality music and visuals. Liked/subscribed.
Another solid posting. I share this with all my friends and they love your channel. I wish I could do more to support you. But I've been trying to crawl my way out of the gutter & homelessness. Sobriety & your channel help in ways you couldn't understand for this landlocked old man. Instead of panhandling, I started painting. Mostly the old breaks I used to surf, but now I'm trying to capture the essence of the slab. It's very hard to paint the stoke, fear, & vision of someone paddling out to these monsters. But it sure is fun trying. Not as good as surfing them, but as close as this landlocked surfer can get. I knew Ireland had to have some good surf. All you have to do is look at a map.
New subscriber,absolutely awesome Tim,it's exactly like Teahupo'o but in Ireland,unbelievable mate,great work,loved the footage,background music,everything,just awesome.
I’m not sure 🤔 what are they thinking 💭 now and why do we keep them on a daily rotation and then go to sleep 😴 but it’s still the most beautiful 😻 day in London with a lovely ☺️ thank
Not so many make able ones at Muggy yeah, those smaller ones looked evil, the bigger ones throw wide then eat you! The makes must've felt good! Well done on the paddle, looks steep n deep. Dunno if I could give it a go at my age now but the fuckin cold really puts me off the most!!! Thanks Tim, nice work as always. Nice extra twist at the end as well. Loved that wave!
I took a few trips to Ireland from Hawaii. I got humbled real quick. The harshest place i have ever surfed. Cliffs of Moher was the first time seeing snow. To cold for my weak bones.
The first time the team had played together was in February of the same year when they were at a tournament in the city of San Francisco in San Diego in California and a group that had been a fixture since the end of last season and had a chance to make it through the final two 2️⃣ games of the tournament 🏟️ with a win over San Francisco on Sunday night at home to win the title of a Super League Bowl berth in the West Indies in Brisbane on in November was when a group of four six 6️⃣ players were in the first group stage in a series of against two 2️⃣ against the West Indies team and a the West South Africa 🇿🇦 in Australia 🇦🇺 and in
Cheers Tim, excellent as always mate. When I look at maps and pictures of Mullaghmore on flat days, it just don't look like a surf spot. Do you know if it breaks on small days? Is it only a place that works above a certain swell height? As we only see film of it on the large swells, I find the mechanics intriguing.

True brother. Mad As!!
Ireland looks beautiful and unique all on its own. I’m from the tropics. Though I’ve never been there I imagine air conditioners are unheard of.
I'm irish, we come across air con on exotic holidays and say what sourcery is this?

The only conditioners you find in Ireland are in our cars - not to cool things down but to get rid of the condensation from the cold. !
I’m Irish and I’ve heard of air con. It’s a Nicolas cage movie.
@@randompuntur It’s a Cage Nicholas movie.
are you pulling my chain!! an Irish surfer called “Paddy Power”…. cracked me up. no shortage of commitment amongst these dudes. Kudo’s from NZ.

This makes me feel proud to be Irish. Impressive video
Sick video as always Tim. Can't speak for everyone but would like to see more of the take-offs in future videos please!
This was so good Tim. From that character in the beginning to the huge Irish slabs. Massive barrels and washing machine wipeouts. Enjoyed it all.

Irish Teahupoo.
My Godfather, you can almost see & feel the cold emanating from that vid. Incredible man, superhuman those dudes.
always awesome content. captures the energy of surfing and the ocean so well. Although I have never charged waves anything like this!
I have decided. In my next life, I want to be you and dedicate myself to recording surfers. You are insane, really. Thank you for this!

Amazing Irland
I was in Bundoran on 24th. Was about 15 ft with 2 skis and about 5 surfing. About 1pm and it was low tide. Would have been amazing to see this swell.
Creamy pints of Guinness earned , maith an buchaills 👏👏👏
I get anxious just watching this...

Great video.👌🏻
Joe Roper turned me on about Ireland having surf back in the last 70s .He has a friend who started the first wetsuit company for surfing.
The Irish are blessed.
Awesome 👌☠️☠️👌
Excellent.
Good vid Tim 👌🏄🏄
Savage film ❤
Good lord what a monster!
That was great
Balls of steel!
An elite fraternity!
Seems to be a lot of closeouts guys not making waves must be the swell direction looks ferocious
Fantastic footage, thank you! Slabs in Ireland.. who knew? Grateful not to be the bombers at 9:35 or 12:36.
Mullaghmore where Lord Mountbatten was blown to pieces by the I.R.A.
The view into the barrel is heavy. What a difficult wave.
This wave is like big Teahupo'o shot then slam 3 Guinness in ya guts 💪
Sublime
Irish Eyes (Reminds me of Jalama on a big south swell :)
Brutal 😮
Well done all
always a cool soundtrack to your vids mate, who selects the music?
Sick ¡ 🤟👍✌
That end section doesn't want to let you out. It is nasty.
Yet on this video, not many are actually making the wave😳 . Just a huge thrill , then, major beatdown 😵💫

Sickest barrels ever
who does the music. this is great
committed faith to a fully filthy ledge!
very cool
awesome
Wasn't expecting to see brendan
Maybe not the biggest, but some beautiful curls they are.
That’s one of the most incredible waves I’ve ever seen. I’m sorry but that’s better than Tahiti or Fiji
Beautiful Cinematography! I felt like I was dropping in with them! Excellent job!
It really look like pipe but even more massive
Nathan Florence is the best foamball surfer...EVER.
14:31 insane.
Prowlers looks like Maverics
The way it boils up and shuts him down at 16:20
Face melting! 🫠
This one place scares the crap outta me 😮
I would bury and Irish breakfast and a good brew after that .

It does break head and a half high but no barrell to be found at that size!
