I suspected that Raila is not very interested in being President in 2017 when he refused to stand for the second election. I think he enjoys the very powerful position of being Luo Kingpin and a national leader, without term limits, and no accountability.
True Raila just pretends very serious about presidency but not him being president because it's heavy duty of self sacrifice, planing, responsibility and accountability. He enjoys in the shadows being a Luo president as their kingping than a national president. Luis are enslaved like perpets (or as zombies) living but dead politically. When I was working most us didn't like some management position because of it's heavy duty responsibility and accountability and no overtime once you become menagerie. Someone at our grade of seniors (the highest and well paid) could make 450per hour or equal to your boss or more than the junior management guys tho' by titles were above us but by payslip we were above them. So it was easy to intimidated any management employee because of our fat accounts tho' not always. It's like being above the law. So sweet and confidence..no one can sack you without consulting COTU. Tulikwamia hapo because of money but not the title. We could pretend agitate to miss managerial position but in our or my heart..I was rejoicing nimeshindwa. That's us and Raila and Atwoli. So don't believe every leader. Only sycophants do.

Not really, journalism requires sceptical questioning. You can even see how tough Hussein Mohamed was when questioning Ruto but still went on to work for him. It's just being objective. Odoyo himself has admitted to answering questions how he wants to help people know what's not in the question. A journalist will see that as escaping the question and take you back... after all this is a tough topic, except tough pressured questioning on behalf of listeners and even the sceptical Luo supporters of Baba so that the message goes home unquestionably when he finally answers the tough questions...

I keep asking me, why is kibera a slims while they call it Raila’s bedroom. Who would want their bedroom to look like Kibera. You can outshine him but he has right to go right back at you and outshine you. Politics is about out shining each other. There is some control of who runs within the party and I think some of it has come about as a result of people who have decided to subvert democracy by having their supporters run in other peoples' party.

I am from Luo Nyanza, and there is nowhere in Kenya people value education and are learned and informed than this place. If Odoyo Owidi has a personal problem with Odinga, he should not speak to us the way he does. Raila is not a saint, but we follow him as our leader, and we respect him until Odoyo Owidi becomes one.
