There shouldn't be a "franchise". I'm not a fan of T2 either, but at least it puts a full stop on it. That should have been it. Meanwhile, no one is talking about the music itself, an impressive and fraught performance from Brad Fiedel, before he had equipment that he could synchronise. Amazing work from him, and iconic. This video at least presents the true end credits music. I love how it builds in intensity towards the end. Thanks for uploading.
tbh, i think the franchise is one of the factor that keep T1 and T2 relevant. Younger audiences nowadays dont like the film qualities of these movies even with Open Matte versions. Just let them see how badass the terminators are and let them keep exploring
The first movie left things so open ended that a sequel was bound to happen. It really felt like the first chapter of a story with a cliffhanger at the end. But yeah, Terminator 2 felt like it could have been an actual ending to the story with Judgment Day being prevented.
@@mrflynn1205 No. Cameron had a final scene where the police finds the chip and sends it for testing. Search the deleted scenes. Also, many points in the plot were deferred and deleted, until they showed up in T2. I will get a lot of hate for this but imho, the acting in T2 was much better than T1. However, the acting in Alien was much better than Aliens, as if it were happening right in front of your eyes with normal people. So for me, T2 is a much better sequel, but Aliens is almost as good as Alien.
Now we have to send a terminator to prevent terminator 3 rise of the machines from happening and that’ll save the franchise from ever getting ruined!!!

T1 and T2 best ending credit themes. Those 80s heavy drumbeats are just mind blowing in T1. T2 just make you wanna shed some tears.
