Have you ever thought about maybe Turing your whole list into a wabbajack mod list or Nexus Collections?
This video is great man. Keep it up!
wabbajack mod list please?
@@exile9024 yeah I would definitely prefer wabbajack too, Vortex just frustrates me so damn much, and adding mods mid play through and so on is a hassle when using vortex.
Thanks once again for showing us these amazing mods, Love your vids.
finally a mod list that isnt just "Turn skyrim into dark souls" Gonna try this out for sure!
Wait what are you talking about? They have lockon combat and even Solaires armor
@@BARMN89 Man the bar for "dark souls" is getting lower every day lol
@@SirDoodicusIm just saying, its not exactly trying to be antithetical.
@@SirDoodicus
I fucking died reading that thank you, you made my day
easily one of my favorite modding channels i've discovered a couple months ago, you have good taste in mods and your editing is becoming higher quality with each video
thanks :)
This is exactly the kind of vanilla++ experience I was looking for. I'm definitely taking notes here
Sidequests of Skyrim and The Notice Board are a couple of other radiant quest mods to go along with Missives. All three are 100% compatible, very configurable and give you quite a variety of quest types and questgivers.
Thanks for mentioning those!
Aren't missives just a better and updated version of notice board?
@@frog6054 No. Completely separate mods with different types of quests. Even the quest types that overlap dont interfere with each other. The Notice Board quests are not localized by hold while Missives are so you can use The Notice Board as a reason to travel to a new hold and pick up Missive quests there for more local jobs.
@@adrianwebster6923i like the diversity of notice board with certain ones taking a good while to complete but nothing is localized
@@adrianwebster6923
Okay, that sounds cool
bring more mods like these, which change gameplay mechanics. Pls
+1

Seriously i could care less about graphics. I want gameplay overhauls that make it better
NO MORE KUMQUAT
Requiem is a mod that overhauls most parts of the game. It’s a huge mod, so compatibility with other mods isn’t the best but I recommend checking it out.
It does make Skyrim harder, but it isn’t a Hardcore mod. It makes Skyrim more dangerous, so it’s about preparation. The mod is basically an overhaul and makes it so enemies don’t level. Meaning you can’t go kill vampires and stuff at level 1, instead you need to improve your skills, level up and prepare for the fight.
I don’t like hardcore mods, to me it feels pointless when hardcore modes just add 5x HP to enemies for example. This mod doesn’t give enemies more HP instead it actually balances the game
Thank you so much for showcasing our mod! More To Say, Relationship Dialogue Overhaul, Honed Metal and Missives are a must-have in all my playthroughs!
Stop making these videos!!!!!!!! I CANT STOP INSTALLING MODS
Real
I’m currently in the process of modding Skyrim using your mod list from earlier, so far so good, just recently finished installing all the JK’s interior mods and patches.
Keep making videos, man. You're the best and most concise mod showcase channel out there 💪
RDO is old as dirt as far as Skyrim mods go, but the fact that it still makes lists talking about how to improve Skyrim is a testament to the quality of the mod. That said, it looks like it's time for another mod list rework when I have a computer with space for this game and its mods again.
Thank you for making this! I'll be wrapping up a playthrough of Skyrim soon and wanted to start with a fresh mod list, and this is what I needed.
Your videos are amazing, you always feature some of the best mods out there!
Nice work on the video man! I've watched a few Skyrim mod-list and most of them cover the same mods over and over again, but this one was great! All very thought out and some I've even never heard of before!
Finally someone talks about Vokriinator
Got back in to skyrim modding thanks to your videos, my favourite creator atm.
would love your full go to modlist as a collection. i have the visual one but would love one with all the bells and whistles you have on your game.
changes constantly so might be a while before i get it down to something publishable
Dude! Thank you so much for this video and series. I have been looking forever for the best Lore Friendly mod list that isn't just Vanilla+ but also goes over the top with new gameplay and graphics mods. I am very weary of certain mods straying to far from the vanilla feel which seems to be too common in most videos showcases/mod lists. Can't wait to install these mods and see what others you have to recommend in the next one!
This was just a list of some of my favourite ever mods. Didn't learn as much as usual but I enjoyed every second of the video!
This is top notch! It's been a while since i've seen a modlist and wanted to download every mod presented.
Note you need a f*ckload of secondary mods to even run the main mods.
Just found this channel and already really enjoying the content, making me want to re-make my Skyrim LO again for the 5th time this week.
Thanks for showcasing Vokriinator! I would never have tried it out without you going through the various perks. It really is 👌🏻
been binging your videos they're all great! really enjoyed this video as well.
Sheesh, amazing job on the video, and idk why/how I've missed Misc Dialogue Edits, such a good mod! 🏆
Love your videos man, been using regular Adamant on my current build but im starting my mods and load order all over again so i'll defintley use Vokrinator along with Mannaz n Freyr been wanting more variety to my game, thx ^^
Just discovered your channel, and I love the look of your game! I especially respect that your npcs are recognisable with just that vanilla +++ overhaul, and don't look like they've just come off the catwalk with their hair all blow-waved XD
I *love* these mod suggestions! :D Thanks so much for this video!
Great video as always. Keep it up!
Fantastic video with some great mods
Amazing video as always!
Fantastic video and excellent mods!
Damn. Amazing mods. Great vid. Gonna visit the Nexus again.
im using a few of these, some fantastic ideas here, some i already use but the race mod and standing stones got my attention
I'm kinda new to Skyrim so I'm glad I crossed across your channel dude
man im so glad i subbed to you recently alot of these mods i did know about but missives and skyshards are Definetly gonna be new additions especially since i play with a high xp cost to level and run ordinator.
Gonna have to try Mannaz and Freyr on my next playthrough
If you are on Playstation like myself, a mod called Notice Boards is similar to Missives as it puts boards in towns and cities to receive side quests from.
I'm definitely checking out mannaz and Freyr, that sounds really interesting to have standing stones dependent on race
Great mod choices 😁
I also love Vokriinator 👍🏻
Great mods you showcased here
The enchantment and smithing changes are great
If anyone was wondering what the bow hes using @1:36 is, it appears to be the Penobscot War Bow by FrankFamily
correct !
I like this, it feels like an actual enchantment to the game rather than a replacement. Aside from having a certain aura of smugness, most mod channels that try turning Skyrim into a "true RPG" basically use so many unnecessary mods (that most players' systems won't be able to handle) to turn it into a completely different and unrecognizable game, however these mods feel like an extension/reimagining of Skyrim, as if the base game were simply rough ideas and these improvements are fully fleshed out products
Ok, I want that Mannaz mod! Makes all the races actually fun!
I have to say, as someone who mostly plays on Xbox, I really love that you note which mods are available on Xbox. Thank you so much for that!
I use Experience. Reallly gem of a mod. Set your own exp and makes quests more rewarding.
Another great video! Would you be able to do a video on animation and physics mods you use?
Love the new Xbox indicators on the top left. It definitely makes it easier to find the mod on the Xbox's mod page 👍
good stuff reccomending mannaz and freyr
subbed! Excellent video
good shit, will try this out later
Dammit man, you're gonna make me revamp my modlist to include all of these.
Just discovered your channel, very nice, I like it! :)
my goat - one of my inspirations for starting the channel
Incredible video 👍🏾
great vids man
I use mods like or the exact mods in this video, and i gotta say it makes playing Skyrim much more enjoyable.
i really appreciate how you add the xbox icon on mods available for console players ❤
You have very interesting videos, keep them coming. Peace
Gonna need to implement that turn-based combat
I’d never heard of honed metal before but now it seems like something so obvious lol. My favorite alternative to skyshards is Perk Points and More Gold for Bounty Quests. It does what it says on the tin honestly, I think you can edit the amount you receive of each, but point is I like to expand on my skills more without needing to level so quickly and thus fast track through all the different monster variants and stuff. But at the same time I think it’s pretty balanced since instead of finding them you at least are still doing some sort of quest for the perk points.
Ordinator also has the 20% and 50% more perk points plugins, which give you a second perk point every 5 or 2 levels respectively, there might be an equivalent plugin for the skill overhaul you mentioned. I agree with what you said like I think it really makes Skyrim more fleshed out to have more perk points, otherwise it’ll be a significant amount of time before you start branching out beyond the basic “do/resist more damage with x” perks, and so you can spend more of the game using the unique spells/skills you want vs. leveling up to be able to use them
"Which of the 8 divines" is more fitting, because those people don't recognize Talos and would be more likely to emphasize that.
A good complement or substitute to SkyShards is Ice Claw! It's similar : you have like 108 small blue mushrooms scattered around Skyrim and each time you eat one you increase permanently your carrying capacity by 2. It's not huge but it's something, and it's quite immersive - being discrete.
But love all of that and will definitely try them out!
Mannaz does feel a bit less immersive than Imperious though it does seem to bring in some of its features.
what's your 1st person dialogue camera mod? I like how the NPC stays slightly left and the dialogue options are on the right.
Great video. Love the upgrades. Makes Skyrim new.
What did you use to upgrade the graphics, both climate and characters?
This is better than the other video by the same name
I'm impressed with the quality of the display, ie the background, interaction with environment and the bright coloration and clarity of the scenery. I'm a newby to Skyrim, been just trying to work through the leveling, weaponry, interaction with npc's and building a familarity with quests, what manipulating spells results in, etc. So, my question is where to for mods that will make my emersion in the game more enjoyable from a visual standpoint...I'll work on the other stuff later.
I have a little video in the description going over the graphics mods I use
Once I'm done with varying play throughs on my current classic enairim setup, I'll definitely give Vokriinator a shot, I'm a sucker for being able to create insanely specific characters
I appreciate the Futhark representation. It’s such a nice race and stone overhaul pack and perfectly fits the Vanilla+ style but is sadly is incredibly slept on. I am using it along with Simonrim and I am super excited to see what the Growl and Sacrilege Futhark integration does.
I know it's sad - it's definitely enai's best work
Approved!
those imperial armors look cool
Ah you always make the best, videos, right when I got my game looking good! Really wish more of the mods you use were available on xbox
I believe that all these mods are on Xbox. That’s why in the intro of each one, you can see the Xbox One Logo in the upper left side.
@@jakeheye4931 I am also talking about his graphics, but not all mods in the video are available for Xbox.
Yea some of these are definitely not on xbox
little xbox logo indicates if it is availible - e.g expereince didn;t have one because it isn't availible
@@redshift1 ohh ok, thanks for correcting.
Enai's new Futhark mods are really cool imo. Criminally underexposed.
Vokriinator looks awesome!!!!
Try Gardden's Perk trees merged. It combines Ordinator, SPERG and Path of Sorcery, but leaves out Adamant and Vokrii.
Trust me, it also has tons of perks and saves you 5 mod slots and does not force you into Mysticism.
It's also a bit cleaner than Vokriinator I'd say.
Also it has official patches which makes the block and power attack perks not obsolete if you use Valhalla and MCO.
@@mystechry ohhh. Dang. 🤔 hmm, ok ill look into this. Thanks alot. Appreciate it
love these
I use imperious races of Skyrim
One day I'll put some time aside and mod skyrim out using your videos
I would love to see a version of this for PlayStation.
A simple question, what's your dialogue camera mod? Is there a preset for it to look like that or something? I've seen that a lot of modlists use Improved Conversation Camera or one of its forks but I can never get it to look like the one on @8:24 as an example.
This looks incredible, @redshift1. Would you be able to make an update video for the recent skyrim update, to show us how to update all of these dlls? It ruined my previous modlist
mate i've started watching your vids recently. You've been filling the void of Brodual's absence. Keep up the splendid work. I also wonder what your conversation camera mod is, if you don't mind telling me. It looks like ESO but really it's been there since Pathologic.
ps. my suggestion for the next vid would be to cover civil war and conquering stuff like Warzone, Skyrim Realistic Conquering, Lawbringer, etc.
I'll try and distribute the preset on my discord - i've tried to a few times before but it never seemed to work - i'll try again next time i play - thanks for watching
Great video. The question is, do mods use vanilla voice prompts to expand (change) dialogs or add new ones?
Your channel is amazing! Can you please make a video about the mods you use for UI and talks with NPCs? Greetings from Argentina
Lol imagine you as an imperial in the heat of battle, then you offer one of the dudes 10 septims and he goes "Very well, we shall fight side by side as brothers!"
The sheer effort some of these mods have put into them and how much they change the the game does kinda regularly make me wonder "why not just make a new game at this point?" But then again I've seen 1 or 2 already do so and make some rather nice games
Alright, time to start my two week skyrim obsession again
Good list.
I absolutely need to know your ini settings for alternate conversation camera, please, and thank you.
I love your NPC visual mods and the guard armor! :) which ones are you using if you don't mind me asking?? also thank you for the reccommendation of Mannaz, I didn't know Enai had done more overhauls :)
Sons of Skyrim covers the guard armor I’m using quite a few for NPCs, though BnP skin is the main thing - the graphics mod video in he description covers mostly everything
@@redshift1 thank you! 🙏
Chief Sosa for you character name is amazing
I’m smoking Kush I’m taking breaths🗣
>how to mod skyrim into an actual RPG
>dergen shouts
Another amazing video! Dude what npc looks mod do you use?
A few, I covered them all in my remastering skyrim video but for the skin I use BnP which is the main thing
Seems like these mods makes the player OP.
Thanks!!! Try "NPCs Learn Skills and Spells" bro
What gear mods are you using? Especially that cloaked heavy armor one. Look badass.
Woohoo new video!
Whats the hair physics mod you're using? Great video btw :D
There's a thing with ordinator and vokrii (maybe other perk tree mods are the same, dunno) that since the new perks substitute the vanilla ones, they are tagged the same and substitute requisites-, the enemies are also buffed by it. Is this the same with Vokriinator? Or do we need to do it with spid?
What mods are you using to change the graphics, text font, character models and dialogue screen? Is there a video of yours where I can see those as well?
Shout out to the paraglider of skyrim
My main priority would be revamping the item system. At the very least when you complete an epic quest and receive an epic legendary sword it's not ''deal 10 cold damage''.
