I used to have ducks and its amazing how thick the white of their eggs are. Means more protein! Also the membrane inside the shell is much thicker, making it a little tougher to open.

We have some Khaki Camel ducks here and we like their eggs. Especially for baking. We tried making deviled eggs from duck and chicken eggs this past Christmas and pretty much unanimously decided the chicken eggs were better. The duck eggs whites were tougher than the chickens, but the yolks made a creamier filling. We ate them all! They were pretty good. Probably won't do deviled duck eggs again though. Scrambled is good!

The yolk size actually makes sense. The chicks feed off the yolk so the bigger chicks need more food to grow. Hope the animals like Ice water 😋 My dad was in the service in the late 40's and was stationed in Texas I remember him telling us stories of the freezing rain, not good. Daniel you eat your eggs like I do, the best chop up and mix just needs a little home made salsa. Daniel, as my husband would say when something lands in his beard "saving it for later".

WOW!! That’s a YOLK!! Lol!! Thanks Houston & Daniel that was fun to watch and very interesting. I know I had the opportunity to have some farm fresh chicken eggs from a local farmer and these eggs were fresh from that morning and I was surprised by how hard it was to crack the shells! Nothing at all like the thin grocery store shells but the other thing that amazed me was the color of the yolks they were almost orange compared to the light yellow color of the grocery store eggs that I’m accustomed to. But what blew me away was the taste! I knew after eating them what “nutrient dense” food really tasted like! It was such an eye opening experience! Unfortunately I live in a large city and don’t have access to farm fresh eggs but ever since that I’ve wanted to have a small piece of land so I could have egg laying chickens and raise them. I’m guessing if you had used a grocery store egg and compared it to your duck and goose egg the chicken egg would have had the least amount of flavour. I think I understood Houston’s comparison to sweet I think what he meant was the richness of the flavour? Anyway thoroughly enjoyed the video! Thanks for doing that! God bless! 🥰❤️🇨🇦🙏🏻

We have hummingbirds from spring through autumn. Those eggs are tiny, about like a small jelly bean. We’ve got a mama hummer who has a nest just outside our patio door. Over two years she has produced four babies! But it would take about 200 of those hummingbird eggs to equal one goose egg!
    Gee, now I’m hungry!

You should let the water freeze up solid and then stack it in the barn and when it gets really hot again bring it out for all the animals to enjoy. LOL.

I love videos like this, very informative and good to see your opinions on it. I've often thought of doing this on my channel but I have never gotten around to it. I want to add in Quail, Guinea Fowl and Turkey eggs to make it interesting.

Thank you for the presentation. Call me crazy, but I love making scrambled eggs (Brown preferrably) in the microwave. No butter. No milk. Pepper only. The taste of the egg is seriously so much better. I save the butter for the toast. I'd surely like to try a goose egg some time.
