At 3:30 my eyes literally started to water, I never remember playing ruby yet I remember the truck scene so well and starting a new game so often as a little kid because I liked playing the first few levels/portions of video games so much and doing it over and over

So, sooo fucking long since I've seen that title intro... the memories man. Stadium was my first Pokemon game, but this was my first main series title. Given to me by a friend along with a shitty, scratched up GBA missing the battery cover, but goddamn this game left one hell of an impression. I'll never forget how good it felt to explore every single inch of this game, how badly I wanted to fill that dex, and I longed to be a part of the larger Pokemon community. I was too poor to go to any events or even to afford merch. Being an adult now, it's crazy how much has changed...
Dude I feel you, only my games were Blue and Silver. This is the first time I've checked out Gen 3 out of curiosity and it is so alien to me ... for me it's crazy how different this is.

I am gonna try and beat all the Pokémon main series games by next year before they close down the 3ds e shop. I beat Sapphire last night. Now we play Ruby!!!
damn my Mom just passed this month and im on a nostalgia trip. Rmbered her getting me Ruby and my bro sapphire. Got me the pokemon cards too. Good times.
So sad I was never played at this games. I just have one a hand-held game console with several dozen games and that's it. (I don’t know why I’m complaining, because the past cannot be returned). But I had fun with it too

@@Mitch-m7z Ok, so apparently you're supposed to beat the 5th gym leader (Flannery) at Lavaridge Town. After that, your rival gives it to you. I remember getting stuck too as a little kid back in 2006 or 7 I think.
staying on the bike during certain times like then you're walking through an area team magma invaded is kinda lame because we hear the happy bike music when you're staring down angry gang members. It's funny the way you did it but I want to hear that unique scene music. The rest of this is great, just something to think about for any future pokemon longplays

You dont need a gba , just Download a emulator and the Rubrik rom
