They did steal the planar idea and the clean lines from Huawei. But sadly they didn't steal the LDAC idea. These sound like Garbage when compared to freebuds pro 2 or 3 on LDAC. Got mine early and I'm returning. I have s22 ultra so I couldn't even use the fancy Samsung codec (no where is it mentioned that it's only the newer devices that get it). Very disappointed.
I just preordered the silver Buds 3 Pro. Normally I go with white coz it’s my favorite color but I don’t want people to think I am wearing an Airpods so I chose silver. The Buds 3 Pro looks way better and more premium. The Airpods looks just like an Earpods (their wired version) that got chopped with a cleaver.
I don't get why people are mad about the design. sure it's similar to other buds including the AirPods, but headphones have looked roughly the same for decades, and nobody cares. sometimes companies try something different, but most of the time they come back to what is tried and true, and the stem design on earbuds just works.
Great review, much better than a lot of other ones out there. What's your personal opinion on the mic quality for calls. The noise isolation sounds really impressive but the voice sounds robotic and digital and not very natural sounding. How do you think it compares to the iPod voice quality?
Unfortunate you have an old Samsung device because it has 360 audio and head tracking and it also utilizes the Samsung seamless codec which creates a better sound stage and depth. However great review 👍
Very true. I couldn’t test head tracking and 360 degree audio because I did not have access at the moment to the newer Samsungs. But despite that, they still sounded great!
you're not gonna hear a difference between bit depth and sampling rate on these earbuds, but you could check what codec you're using by enabling developer mode and then searching the codec setting @@doublea614
Thanks for the review. On the blade lights, i see a use case for it aside from being an aesthtic differentiator. If it can light up whenever adaptive ambient mode is turned on when youre speaking with someone, it'll act as a visual cue for the other person to know that you can hear them. Same for interpreter mode (live translation) to let the other party know that I've heard his/her translated conversation (lights on when he/she can continue speaking, lights off when translation is still being relayed). In the future, i hope to see blade lights with different colors to show the other party different functions that are enabled on the listener
As someone who’s no stranger to and very grateful for the Find My feature on AirPods I definitely could see the lights as being useful when trying to locate them

WARNING!! I would strongly recommend that you do not try to change the ear tips on the Buds pro 3. There seems to be a major design fault in that they are extremely fragile and will tear causing all sorts of problems. I have this issue and a quick online search as revealed that this is a common problem and there are lots of unhappy owners of these Buds.
I wonder if thats why my order that was due to arrive today has been pushed back...they said theyre conducting quality control on them 🙄 why they haven't done this before they released the dates,im not sure!
A few years ago I left my galaxy buds pro (the first iteration) in my pocket and put them in the washer. The buds themselves survived and work just fine. The case however didn't make it out ok. I can still charge the case, but the battery doesn't last long. Long story short, I trust these buds in water
Just got mines, love them the fit is outstanding, my buds 2 pro hurt I like them but man they hurt. You will feel them for hours like they are still in your ear. Now that I have tried these it's a no-brainer, bud pro 2 have to go to get the discount 😢 but theses feel super great and perfect fit. They are worth it

Quick question. Are the Buds3 pro and the Airpods Pro ear tips interchangeable? I just want to know because that would mean the airpod comply foam tips would be compatible with buds3 pro.
I went to the store today to check out the Buds 3 Pro and one of them had their silicone tips taken out for some reason, and I noticed in the silicone tip, the cutout was more oval rather than circle. So I believe it won't be compatible with the airpods pro and vice versa.
Besides finding the buds in the dark if you drop them or something, I think the lights will be great for letting other people know that you're listening to music. That way that if they speak to you and you don't answer they'll know why or maybe won't approach you at all. Maybe kind of like a deterrent for people to start talking to you. That's what I'm going to use the lights for. Just to let people know that I'm listening to something in the earbuds and may not be able to hear them or respond to them.

People are just clumsy and fat fingered. I've swapped tips twice, currently using foam ones and I haven't had any issues. U can't just pull them like people are doing on Reddit, u need to get the silicone over the lip before pulling. I used my nail, blunt tweezers work too

Yes the buds live are eligible! If you trade in with samsung directly you can get up to $75 currently for the almost all buds (including the OG Galaxy Buds) and $100 for the OG Buds Pro and Buds Pro 2
I'm not too sure about the sound, but the ANC in ear buds will always be noticeably worse than in over ear headphones as headphones go over your whole ear where's the ear buds only go in your ear. It's good for ear buds standards but they'll never be as good as headphones no matter the brand you go with

It must work I had buds Fe and there in settings I had the option to continue playing when a bud is taken off,or not ,it's customizable I had them until forgot them in the washing machine and the case didn't work anymore,but then buds were working but not usable So soon I will get the buds 3 pro
I have Galaxy buds 2 (not pro) I am happy with them. Very good sound, well balanced, very good ANC, no complaints about microphone, comfortable. Is it worth twice and more the price for new pro? Without trying Pro3 I am sure that answer is no. Not worth it.
I have been using the Buds 2 as well for 2 years now. They've been rock solid but my gripe is definitely the ambient mode. I do delivery as my job and I sometimes have to consistently remove my earbuds for each delivery because of the robotic voices I hear. I am planning to make the jump to the Buds 3 Pro because I see a trusted store here selling for 140 USD.. couldn't believe it so I had to double check and it's a pre-order. I just pre-ordered so I'll have to wait and see.
If you cant see the utility in certain features then you probably arent using them for much more than what you can get from most audio devices. For example, the LED light bar is a massive safety feature for people who exercise outside during low light.
Honestly, I was really looking forward to these Buds 3/3 Pro (the leaks announced multipoint), but like the previous Galaxy Buds since the Buds+, they will not be in my recommendations for my customers and relatives or in my list of future purchases 🤦🏽♂️ Frankly, I can't understand Samsung's stubbornness to want to do like Apple 🍏 and stupidly restrict its earbuds, no standard/real multipoint, no standard Hi-Res codec like LDAC... Wanting to have an ecosystem is not necessarily bad, but you already have to at least offer features like multipoint and a standard Hi-Res codec... that are standards today on even $50-$80 earbuds, but when to have the minimum people have to be in your "close-system" like Apple's 🍏, I say NO ! Samsung could have created the ultimate earbuds for Android users, and even for Apple users (if an app existed on iOS), but I think this title will come back to Google with its future Pixel Buds Pro 2 thanks to Google Assistant + Gemini 😮💨 Ps: on the other hand, it's really a great product for those who are in the Samsung closesystem.
@@leotoussaint8872 i do not have them but from good call quality tests (outdoors, wind traffic) with a contrasting microphone (but not recorded from a phone in a quiet environment) the freebuds pro 3 are the only wireless ones that have business level quality audio on the run. If they manage to make the freeclips like that and make them less jewelry like and make sure i can hear the speakers in noisy environmemts, i am sold. Huawei freeclips 4 here we come.
Surprisingly not. I talk about it later. It is turned off by default so you do need to enable it on a Samsung phone. But then once enabled it worked on my iPhone

Airpods are better BUT, when used with an iphone. Airpods perform badly with androids. If you have a Samsung use the Buds 3 pro. If you have a OnePlus use the OnePlus buds 3 pro. If you have any other android use Bose or Sony.

My Note 20 Ultra has seamless codec it got updated when I got the galaxy buds 2 pro although it only uses 24 bit/48 hz

Apple didn't come up with the stem design. I had earbuds that had stems before apple made airpods.

If you cant see the utility in certain features then you probably arent using them for much more than what you can get from most audio devices. For example, the LED light bar is a massive safety feature for people who exercise outside during low light.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to these Buds 3/3 Pro (the leaks announced multipoint), but like the previous Galaxy Buds since the Buds+, they will not be in my recommendations for my customers and relatives or in my list of future purchases 🤦🏽♂️
Frankly, I can't understand Samsung's stubbornness to want to do like Apple 🍏 and stupidly restrict its earbuds, no standard/real multipoint, no standard Hi-Res codec like LDAC...
Wanting to have an ecosystem is not necessarily bad, but you already have to at least offer features like multipoint and a standard Hi-Res codec... that are standards today on even $50-$80 earbuds, but when to have the minimum people have to be in your "close-system" like Apple's 🍏, I say NO !
Samsung could have created the ultimate earbuds for Android users, and even for Apple users (if an app existed on iOS), but I think this title will come back to Google with its future Pixel Buds Pro 2 thanks to Google Assistant + Gemini 😮💨
Ps: on the other hand, it's really a great product for those who are in the Samsung closesystem.

@@leotoussaint8872 i do not have them but from good call quality tests (outdoors, wind traffic) with a contrasting microphone (but not recorded from a phone in a quiet environment) the freebuds pro 3 are the only wireless ones that have business level quality audio on the run.
If they manage to make the freeclips like that and make them less jewelry like and make sure i can hear the speakers in noisy environmemts, i am sold. Huawei freeclips 4 here we come.

The LED on the blade is not only cool, you can you it to indicate you are listening to music or whatever and/or ambient mode is not on.

It is true but it's a bug that will be fixed on July 19th when the online preorderds begin to ship for the first public software
That is true. There is a small hiss with ANC, but only noticeable when no music is playing.

Surprisingly not. I talk about it later. It is turned off by default so you do need to enable it on a Samsung phone. But then once enabled it worked on my iPhone

Airpods are better BUT, when used with an iphone. Airpods perform badly with androids. If you have a Samsung use the Buds 3 pro. If you have a OnePlus use the OnePlus buds 3 pro. If you have any other android use Bose or Sony.
