I predicted Detective Bailey, but not the other two. I really liked the reveal & motive, but I think the acting from the 2 younger killers post-reveal is not very good.
Sam went from a "meh" protagonist to an absolute badass to me. I was iffy about her being Sidney's successor but she really held her own and then some in this movie. Her character growth was so great and proved her worth!
I feel like the hate she got last movie made her improve. Not just her but the writers too. Her story this movie was better and the acting and a lot more stuff. I loved sam last movie but this movie she was so much better.
I’m one of them lmao. Glad you liked it. I enjoyed the film overall, and it’s one of my top 3 in the series (which out of only 6 movies might not mean much). I felt like A it was too much like the reveal of Scream 2, and B the fact that all 3 of them were related to Richie was a bit much for me.
Right? 6 movies in and it's still very enjoyable franchise. The only other horror franchise that I believe stayed consistently good for 6 movies straight was Saw.

They really made sure to showcase Melissa’s abilities in this one! Jenna was the unexpected star in the last movie and so it’s only fair Melissa got her moment in this one!
Yes, and I feel like Jenna wasn’t even in the movie that much. The unexpected star thing came from the fact that she was already fairly well known when she was in the film and Melissa wasn’t. Actually for me, Melissa was the only one of the core four that I DIDN’T know.
I really appreciated the meta scene where Sam talked about all the hate she’s getting. They specifically wrote that in there out of support for Melissa after the awful hate and racism she was subjected to after scream 5.

They gave her a line in the 5th one specifically because people were being racist about her but then she posts something on social media about a war between 2 races and they fire her for it? )I could probably articulate this better if I wanted but I'm kinda lazy lol) where is the logic here?
Quinn did say that her Dad transferred to New York after her "brother" died in the dorm scene. She mentioned that her Dad followed her to college being very overprotective, in order to relate with Tara's predicament with Sam being protective. They mentioned it earlier in the film.
I was looking for this comment cause they made sure to set that up. He’d have plenty of time to set up the theatre plus he said he helped Richie build his collection but he dedicated the shrine to him after he died
I've been saying this for so long. I want a Scream movie where the audience knows the killer before the main character and every time they interact, we get so angry because we want them to find out so bad.
I loved the opening for scream six, but I don’t know how well that would work for a full movie. You have to keep in mind that if we know the ghost face from the beginning, it takes away a lot of the suspense. On top of that if we know one ghost face, we’re going to have to know all of them because they’re going to be working together.
@@belpop I think it would be cool to figure out who is one of the Ghostfaces earlier in the movie. Maybe they get caught. But we don’t know who the other is, but suspicion is heightened for several characters. Ultimately, I like a really good whodunnit. I want it to make sense. I want to believe that these characters are killers, and I don’t want their entire personality to change once revealed. What was so great about Scream (1996) was that Billy and Stu were still Billy and Stu at the end. Their relationship, the way they speak and interact. They felt a bit scary and dangerous the entire movie. I get it is hard to do that again without giving it away, but that’s what I like. I say make it realistic even if it is obvious, but then have some twist.
@@belpop It's still very possible to build a suspenseful film knowing who the main character is. It just becomes a story about who, how and when the kills them. The suspense will come from for example a character being left alone with the killer.
@@Mopark25 I think it would work very well during fight scenes or final scenes, but during regular scenes where the characters are just interacting with someone we know is the killer it would feel weird. I don’t know, I just feel like it wouldn’t have the same affect as wondering about the person.
Strange to have a Scream movie without Sydney Prescott or Dewey, but honestly, hardly thought about them throughout the movie. Also, I do love the sister dynamic of Sam and Tara.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ENTRY INTO THE FRANCHISE!! It did such a good job at making you like this new group of characters while tying in literally every movie of the past. And they are leaving the door open for Sydney to come back. I absolutely love how Sam is a badass final girl in a totally original new way. People complain that it doesn’t make sense or that it goes too far. But I think it is a super fun way to connect to the past and set up the future. While making the final girl a total scary bad ass.
My heart goes out to Mindy the most, her and her brother were both attacked previously, her uncle died as a result of previous attacks, she finally is with someone who you could see made her so happy, just to have it ripped away 😭
The multiple turns this movie had actually got me and I genuinely cared about the cast compared to 5 (and yes I'm calling it Scream 5). It is a step in a direction that I hope continues in 7.
This is definitely a requel trilogy and it needs an ending. And if they reveal something we didn’t know before, like how Scream 3, 7 needs to have a bigger twist.
@@KingsNerdCave Yeah, we don't need her to have a brother. Having Richie's family being the villains in Scream VI felt too similar to Mrs. Loomis wanting revenge. If they are to do the brother thing in which he's Billy's son too, he would need to be a twin for Sam and Christina just simply gave him up for adoption and he's jealous that she only kept Sam. Before Scream 2022 came out, I had a similar idea with the thing with Sam. For years, I always thought that if a fifth film were made, the villain should be revealed to be a long lost son of Roman; Sidney's nephew. I think maybe they should just bring back at least one Ghostface from the past revealing that they're not really dead and want revenge. There are 3 possibilities on who they can be... 1. Jill: The people that made SCRE4M for said that instead of having Sidney shoot her in the head like what they usually do with each Ghostface, they had her shoot her in the chest to leave the door open for her to return. 2. Stu: Even though Scream VI tried to debunk the theory on that he probably survived the TV attack by having Kirby kill Ethan with it, he was killed in a different way. So it would be interesting if it's revealed that he is indeed still alive. He could've simply fell into a coma. His motive for eating Sam dead is because it'll be the closest thing he has in killing Billy. At first everyone will be confused on why he would want to kill Billy since they were partners. He then says that he learned from STAB 3 that Roman revealed to Sidney he told Billy to have a partner to frame in case he got caught. Therefore, Stu is made that Billy was going to have him be his fall guy. If Sidney does return, I think it would be a nice callback if he said to her "You know, even after all these years, I still have a thing for ya, Sid!" 3. Billy: Fans have been saying he should return. At first, I thought it was ridiculous since he was shot in the head by Sidney, but then I thought about it more. Movies and TV shows do sometimes have people survive being shot in the head by saying they fell into a coma and they are sent to the hospital to have the bullet removed. Anyway, if Billy is alive, he would want to kill everyone else except Sam. And when Sam says she is not wanting to go through with his plans and attacks him, this pushes him over the edge in which he has no choice but to kill her. Their time together can be similar to when Freddy Kruger and his daughter fight each other in "Freddy's Dead". With Sam killing Billy, it would basically be her defeating her inner demon. Sam has been seeing hallucinations of him. She's worried that she's going to end up like him. And even though she left his mask on the street at the end of Scream VI to symbolize how she's letting go, Sam killing Billy would be enough for her to finally end this thing she's been suffering with. And as Billy dies, it should be similar to when Sidney killed Roman in which Billy and Sam hold each other's hands as lets out his dying breath. And even if we want, we can have Billy mention how he wouldn't have became the first Ghostface if it weren't for Roman's guidance.
@@ryanstauffer119 I wouldn't be opposed to a killer coming back, but it would have to make a lot of sense. I think Stu would be the most possible, but even then I can't see him as a mastermind. He was good, but also super goofy, he was purely a sidekick so he'd have to drop the goofyness for me to believe him as the new alpha killer. Billy although your idea is super cool, I feel is too bizarre with how beat up he was and then being blasted in the skull. Honestly just don't do the brother thing and I'd be happy I feel. Despite 3's flaws Roman was a great killer with sensible motivation. They can relate to him without just doing that story beat again. Thing is, having a killer come back, they are Sidney's past, while this is now Sam and Tara's story, so idk how well it would fit. There are ways to do it though.
Ahh, I was patiently waiting for this one! I was a little bummed we lost Samara Weaving's character so quickly (even if it's in true Scream fashion) - Her research is so close to my own! But that second kill with the little tagline - that gave me chills. Loved it! :)
I like how ghostface says “don’t you know the legacy characters are disposable now.” the only time someone brought that up was when Mindy was doing her talk, I think it’s funny the killer kinda gave themselves away, at least to the audience but no one caught it lol
If you think about it Gale & Ghostface we’re supposed to have a phone call in Scream 2 but Randy answered her phone thinking it was someone in her work field trying to get ahold of her
I just noticed how they dropped a big hint that Quinn was the other Ghostface At 17:41 she stated that what if the characters from the previous movie snapped and started a killing spree due to their trauma. And during her chase scene with Gale, she also mentions the same thing through the voice modulator
Ghost face was more violent and more menacing. It was so much fun and had me on the edge of my seat the entire movie. The opening scene is by far one of the best opening scenes since scream 1 and 2. This is most definitely one of the best scream movies out of the entire franchise y'all 👍🏻 I absolutely loved every minute of it ❤ I been patiently waiting on this one from you guys. I honestly thought Ethan would be the loveable side character who gets eliminated way too quickly by Ghostface. So you can imagine my surprise when the end of the movie happened. Really liked how ruthless Ghostface was in this. They still managed to sprinkle in some comedy like when Gale hung up on him. But the tone was still pretty dark. Definitely loved this movie. Definitely not my favorite(because Scream 1 is iconic and Scream 4 has Jill) but definitely not my least favorite either.
One thing I noticed: Sam's therapist is Dr., or Mr. Stone. In Scream 3, the actress Jennifer had a bodyguard with the last name Stone. I'm VERY curious if this is intentional. Perhaps that's why he no longer wanted to be her therapist, because someone he was related to had already been a victim to Ghostface.
I think if Sam became the next ghostface, it would be the first time going into a scream movie, that you actually would kind of care about the ghostface killer. That would bring an interesting dynamic to the film I feel.
I don't get it. The franchise is trying to do the right thing and avert the HARMFUL "mental illness turns normal people into dangerous killers" cliche, and so much of the audience still wants to go with the tired old "wow, look at all that trauma she went through. i bet she's just gonna SNAP and turn into a serial murderer!" thing. if a fucking big studio slasher movie is trying to be better, can't we?
I should have clued in as soon as Sam gets a call from Richie's phone. Makes perfect sense that the family of the deceased would be in possession of their phone.

The line "Evil dies tonight" is actually in the movie and I was really hoping you guys caught it 🤣 it's in the subway station when they are all walking down and you can hear the crowd chanting it out.
It was great seeing Scream 6 in the theaters with my friends. We all had the same reaction with the reveal and the motive. It was one of the great theater experiences of all time for me.
The sam scene. When Tara Mindy and Chad are talking to her. Was a real scene about how so many people critique sam performance in 5. And that she really felt hated.
My biggest problem with the whole movie is the cashier yelling “Hey!” instead of just blasting the guy that just murdered two people in front of him. 😂
Also I love that the core four survived! People were complaining oh it isn’t realistic at all…but that’s how the movies have always been. Plus it make total sense for the characters to make it to the next movie to set up an even farther out future for the franchise.
They literally said in the movie that the core four aren’t safe and could die. By non of them dying it makes that line pointless. It also makes it feel like there is less at stake because they don’t get killed, so any injuries or attacks wouldn’t be fatal.
*I* have no problem with them not killing The Core 4 but Jesus Christ, if you wanted them to live then avoid the scene with Chad getting stabbed by two ghostfaces, and have them knock him out or something, for fucks sake. And Mindy, she shouldn't have been walking, her appearance at the end was uncalled for, and she should've been absent for the rest of the movie after she went to the hospital/train sequence and medical people were called. But they really need to kill at least 1-2 of the people from The Core 4 next movie, or they'll feel invincible, at least when Gal, Sydney and Dewey got attacked it was realistic. And I'm pretty sure Gal is now in a coma ( my headcanon ) and Dew is dead.
@@Marukanitel I didn’t watch 5 but I’m pretty sure Dewey died in it. Also, the line about the core 4 being in danger of dying feels so cheapened by it not playing out. Now, in the next movie, there is no reason to believe they are in danger or being truthful.

Or one of the members of the core 4, makes a pretty good reason for the rest to be angry, especially Chad ( who better not be walking as if nothing happened, better be a damn 2-3 time year skip if he does. ) And yes, at least Scream 5 had the balls to kill Dewey.
@@Marukanitel the masks left at the scene of attacks really tell you that the protagonist wasn’t in any danger. Or the ghostface are idiots that had contradictory plans. I think it would be amazing for it to be multiple groups competing to kill the core 4 in the next movie. It was interesting that ghostface used a shotgun in 6 but besides that it’s really underwhelming when it’s analyzed.
Quinn and the cop were both hella obvious as soon as they had them both emphasise the dead brother/son. Ethan was super obvious because he looks like Evan Peters 😂
Gotta say, the Ghostface(s) in this one were much bolder imo. Attacking Sam and Tara in the public, and killing anyone who got in their way. Ghostface in the past has done similar stuff, but for some reason they just seemed way more aggressive.
the human body is insane sometimes. back in 2014 two girls lured their friend out into the woods and stabbed her 19 times in order to appease slenderman. their friend survived the initial stabbings and then managed to crawl to the road where she was found and taken to the hospital. two of the wounds were to major organs (liver and stomach i think) and one missed a major artery of her heart by less than a millimeter. so like- scream definitely hasn't done anything too outside the realm of reality.
I just watched this yesterday for the first time, loved it, scream is my favorite horror franchise, loved how they switch some of the formula, the reveal was wild & fit the franchise
People hated the ending because they secretly wanted it to be Stu or the Cult of Ghostface. If Radio Silence does go that direction, it would work better as a sign-off for them. Doing that their second time around might be jumping the shark.

Gale has always been competitive with the newer gen. She was jealous of Sydney when Syd released a book and she wanted to write one too. She needs a drive and something to strive for
I don’t care who hated it. It was the most clever thought out plot, and the way they went a little bit more gray than the other ones have was spot on. They did a great job.
To Andrew saying to John that Ghostface never wears a bulletproof vest, literally the only reason Roman Bridger survived as long as he did in Scream 3 was because he was wearing a bulletproof vest when Sidney shot him
I felt like the ending was a bit of a missed opportunity after all the build up they had paying homage to all the previous instalments, but overall I think it was the second best film of the franchise. So much stuff that’s completely new and fresh for the series while still delivering on all the standard Scream goodness.
The little things drive me crazy like when their friend gets killed and they are barely escaping being killed but they make jokes and smiling like nothing even happened.
When you said “Become your father!” all I initially had in my head was the Emperor saying”I can feel you anger growing inside of you.” Which was then interrupted by the Fanboys version “I can feel your anger growing inside of you… wait a minute, time out time out.” 😂
No the Ghostface(Nancy Loomis?)has called Gale in Scream 2 but it was Randy that picked it up and had a conversation with her but it is the first time Gale has talked to the killer/Ghostface. But anyways good job on the movie reactions!!! I hope you have a great day/afternoon/night!!!
Now I've had some push back on this, but, I still stand by it: They're really trying to make it seem like Sam is going to follow in Billy footsteps, put on the mask herself, and become Ghostface herself eventually. However, I think it's a misdirect. I think Tara might actually turn into Ghostface. Not sure why or what drove her to it... just that she will snap.
Courteney Cox got top billing because she’s legacy and draw! A good percentage of folks who went to see this movie went based on her chase scene with GF! And she’s the only one who’s been in all six - it was very well deserved!
I love how she gets a really good chase scene in this movie because her last good one was in Scream 2, and this movie follows the similarities of Scream 2.
I love how only one person tells us it's Kirby, and this person should obviously be suspected himself, because if he kills them now, they can never fact check him, but everybody believes him.
1 & 5 - love interest killer 2 & 6 - family of the now dead love interest/killer 3 - one big meta movie about the dark mysterious history of all of them 7- ...

Not sure if you guys heard it but in the subway scene when the group walked down the stairs you can actually hear someone say "Evil Dies Tonight" coincidentally
I immediately thought Quinn and her pops were sus because you're a detective, and you know exactly what happened to Tara and Sam's friends...why on Earth would you let your kid continue to chill with them? And then we didn't actually see Quinn get attacked/die. I don't actually watch the films and actively try to figure out who the killer is, though, so I just kinda let it go even though I thought it was really weird haha.
The motive behind the killers was what brought it down for me. Not the kills, not even the reveal, strictly just the motive. Yes it’s like Scream 2, and I get it, but all 3 of them being killers like Richie out for revenge was stupid.
@@3r1kofficial I understand that. Admittedly, when Bailey said "once I saw what you did to Ritchie, I knew you had to pay." I had to consider them seeing Ritchie stabbed that many times probably push them over the edge.
I love that Scream 5 & 6 kinda mirror 1 & 2. First, the characters. Sam is Sidney, Chad is Dewey, Mindy is Randy, and I guess that leaves Tara as Gale. Then, 1 & 5 both have the boyfriend as the killer and the finale in Stu’s house. 2 & 6 both have the parent of the previous killer as the mastermind, the finale on a stage, and the characters in college. Plus you think Dewey and Chad are dead at the end of their respective movies, but are revealed to be alive and are carried away on a stretcher (and they barely survived their first film). I’m sure there’s plenty of other parallels, but these are the obvious. Hopefully they keep this idea and 7 mirrors 3. Watch out for any directors or long lost siblings (or maybe Sam?).
Loved this film. The scene by far my favourite part, they really pulled a switcheroo making us believe they were all together in the trailer. Also the ladder kill was so intense. Some people didn't like the way Dermot Mulroney played his part but i thought he was great. Also they clearly nailed it because it had you guys guessing throughout.

What was so great about Scream (1996) was that Billy and Stu were still Billy and Stu at the end. Their relationship, the way they speak and interact. They felt a bit scary and dangerous the entire movie.
I get it is hard to do that again without giving it away, but that’s what I like.
I say make it realistic even if it is obvious, but then have some twist.
@@belpop It's still very possible to build a suspenseful film knowing who the main character is. It just becomes a story about who, how and when the kills them. The suspense will come from for example a character being left alone with the killer.
@@Mopark25 I think it would work very well during fight scenes or final scenes, but during regular scenes where the characters are just interacting with someone we know is the killer it would feel weird. I don’t know, I just feel like it wouldn’t have the same affect as wondering about the person.

Strange to have a Scream movie without Sydney Prescott or Dewey, but honestly, hardly thought about them throughout the movie. Also, I do love the sister dynamic of Sam and Tara.
I was glad that Syd was mentioned and her picture was in the shrine. Dewey's picture and his theme coming back was great.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ENTRY INTO THE FRANCHISE!! It did such a good job at making you like this new group of characters while tying in literally every movie of the past. And they are leaving the door open for Sydney to come back.
I absolutely love how Sam is a badass final girl in a totally original new way. People complain that it doesn’t make sense or that it goes too far. But I think it is a super fun way to connect to the past and set up the future. While making the final girl a total scary bad ass.
My heart goes out to Mindy the most, her and her brother were both attacked previously, her uncle died as a result of previous attacks, she finally is with someone who you could see made her so happy, just to have it ripped away 😭

The multiple turns this movie had actually got me and I genuinely cared about the cast compared to 5 (and yes I'm calling it Scream 5). It is a step in a direction that I hope continues in 7.
This is definitely a requel trilogy and it needs an ending. And if they reveal something we didn’t know before, like how Scream 3, 7 needs to have a bigger twist.

@@KingsNerdCave Yeah, we don't need her to have a brother. Having Richie's family being the villains in Scream VI felt too similar to Mrs. Loomis wanting revenge. If they are to do the brother thing in which he's Billy's son too, he would need to be a twin for Sam and Christina just simply gave him up for adoption and he's jealous that she only kept Sam.
Before Scream 2022 came out, I had a similar idea with the thing with Sam. For years, I always thought that if a fifth film were made, the villain should be revealed to be a long lost son of Roman; Sidney's nephew.
I think maybe they should just bring back at least one Ghostface from the past revealing that they're not really dead and want revenge. There are 3 possibilities on who they can be...
1. Jill: The people that made SCRE4M for said that instead of having Sidney shoot her in the head like what they usually do with each Ghostface, they had her shoot her in the chest to leave the door open for her to return.
2. Stu: Even though Scream VI tried to debunk the theory on that he probably survived the TV attack by having Kirby kill Ethan with it, he was killed in a different way. So it would be interesting if it's revealed that he is indeed still alive. He could've simply fell into a coma. His motive for eating Sam dead is because it'll be the closest thing he has in killing Billy. At first everyone will be confused on why he would want to kill Billy since they were partners. He then says that he learned from STAB 3 that Roman revealed to Sidney he told Billy to have a partner to frame in case he got caught. Therefore, Stu is made that Billy was going to have him be his fall guy. If Sidney does return, I think it would be a nice callback if he said to her "You know, even after all these years, I still have a thing for ya, Sid!"
3. Billy: Fans have been saying he should return. At first, I thought it was ridiculous since he was shot in the head by Sidney, but then I thought about it more. Movies and TV shows do sometimes have people survive being shot in the head by saying they fell into a coma and they are sent to the hospital to have the bullet removed. Anyway, if Billy is alive, he would want to kill everyone else except Sam. And when Sam says she is not wanting to go through with his plans and attacks him, this pushes him over the edge in which he has no choice but to kill her. Their time together can be similar to when Freddy Kruger and his daughter fight each other in "Freddy's Dead". With Sam killing Billy, it would basically be her defeating her inner demon. Sam has been seeing hallucinations of him. She's worried that she's going to end up like him. And even though she left his mask on the street at the end of Scream VI to symbolize how she's letting go, Sam killing Billy would be enough for her to finally end this thing she's been suffering with. And as Billy dies, it should be similar to when Sidney killed Roman in which Billy and Sam hold each other's hands as lets out his dying breath. And even if we want, we can have Billy mention how he wouldn't have became the first Ghostface if it weren't for Roman's guidance.
@@ryanstauffer119 I wouldn't be opposed to a killer coming back, but it would have to make a lot of sense. I think Stu would be the most possible, but even then I can't see him as a mastermind. He was good, but also super goofy, he was purely a sidekick so he'd have to drop the goofyness for me to believe him as the new alpha killer. Billy although your idea is super cool, I feel is too bizarre with how beat up he was and then being blasted in the skull.
Honestly just don't do the brother thing and I'd be happy I feel. Despite 3's flaws Roman was a great killer with sensible motivation. They can relate to him without just doing that story beat again. Thing is, having a killer come back, they are Sidney's past, while this is now Sam and Tara's story, so idk how well it would fit.
There are ways to do it though.

Ghost face was more violent and more menacing. It was so much fun and had me on the edge of my seat the entire movie. The opening scene is by far one of the best opening scenes since scream 1 and 2. I honestly thought Ethan would be the loveable side character who gets eliminated way too quickly by Ghostface. So you can imagine my surprise when the end of the movie happened. Really liked how ruthless Ghostface was in this. They still managed to sprinkle in some comedy like when Gale hung up on him. But the tone was still pretty dark. Definitely loved this movie. Definitely not my favorite(because Scream 1 is iconic and Scream 4 has Jill) but definitely not my least favorite either.

One thing I noticed: Sam's therapist is Dr., or Mr. Stone. In Scream 3, the actress Jennifer had a bodyguard with the last name Stone. I'm VERY curious if this is intentional. Perhaps that's why he no longer wanted to be her therapist, because someone he was related to had already been a victim to Ghostface.

I think if Sam became the next ghostface, it would be the first time going into a scream movie, that you actually would kind of care about the ghostface killer. That would bring an interesting dynamic to the film I feel.

The franchise is trying to do the right thing and avert the HARMFUL "mental illness turns normal people into dangerous killers" cliche, and so much of the audience still wants to go with the tired old "wow, look at all that trauma she went through. i bet she's just gonna SNAP and turn into a serial murderer!" thing. if a fucking big studio slasher movie is trying to be better, can't we?

It was great seeing Scream 6 in the theaters with my friends. We all had the same reaction with the reveal and the motive. It was one of the great theater experiences of all time for me.
The sam scene. When Tara Mindy and Chad are talking to her. Was a real scene about how so many people critique sam performance in 5. And that she really felt hated.
My biggest problem with the whole movie is the cashier yelling “Hey!” instead of just blasting the guy that just murdered two people in front of him. 😂
I loved this movie. Especially the style the opening scene sequence had.
I really liked the fact that they actually had 3 Ghostfaces (for the very first time) as the Main Killers in the Movie.
Also I love that the core four survived! People were complaining oh it isn’t realistic at all…but that’s how the movies have always been. Plus it make total sense for the characters to make it to the next movie to set up an even farther out future for the franchise.
They literally said in the movie that the core four aren’t safe and could die. By non of them dying it makes that line pointless. It also makes it feel like there is less at stake because they don’t get killed, so any injuries or attacks wouldn’t be fatal.
*I* have no problem with them not killing The Core 4 but Jesus Christ, if you wanted them to live then avoid the scene with Chad getting stabbed by two ghostfaces, and have them knock him out or something, for fucks sake.
And Mindy, she shouldn't have been walking, her appearance at the end was uncalled for, and she should've been absent for the rest of the movie after she went to the hospital/train sequence and medical people were called.
But they really need to kill at least 1-2 of the people from The Core 4 next movie, or they'll feel invincible, at least when Gal, Sydney and Dewey got attacked it was realistic.
And I'm pretty sure Gal is now in a coma ( my headcanon ) and Dew is dead.
@@Marukanitel I didn’t watch 5 but I’m pretty sure Dewey died in it. Also, the line about the core 4 being in danger of dying feels so cheapened by it not playing out. Now, in the next movie, there is no reason to believe they are in danger or being truthful.

@@Marukanitel the masks left at the scene of attacks really tell you that the protagonist wasn’t in any danger. Or the ghostface are idiots that had contradictory plans. I think it would be amazing for it to be multiple groups competing to kill the core 4 in the next movie. It was interesting that ghostface used a shotgun in 6 but besides that it’s really underwhelming when it’s analyzed.
So for non New Yorkers. 10 stops can be up to like an hour depending on the line. Another fun fact. We only have 5 alleys in nyc. ❤️

Gotta say, the Ghostface(s) in this one were much bolder imo. Attacking Sam and Tara in the public, and killing anyone who got in their way. Ghostface in the past has done similar stuff, but for some reason they just seemed way more aggressive.

Honestly? I’m amazed how many stabs the human body can take according to the Scream franchise.
With handy dandy plot armor anything is possible.
the human body is insane sometimes. back in 2014 two girls lured their friend out into the woods and stabbed her 19 times in order to appease slenderman. their friend survived the initial stabbings and then managed to crawl to the road where she was found and taken to the hospital. two of the wounds were to major organs (liver and stomach i think) and one missed a major artery of her heart by less than a millimeter.
so like- scream definitely hasn't done anything too outside the realm of reality.

I just watched this yesterday for the first time, loved it, scream is my favorite horror franchise, loved how they switch some of the formula, the reveal was wild & fit the franchise

People hated the ending because they secretly wanted it to be Stu or the Cult of Ghostface. If Radio Silence does go that direction, it would work better as a sign-off for them. Doing that their second time around might be jumping the shark.

Gale has always been competitive with the newer gen. She was jealous of Sydney when Syd released a book and she wanted to write one too. She needs a drive and something to strive for

I don’t care who hated it. It was the most clever thought out plot, and the way they went a little bit more gray than the other ones have was spot on. They did a great job.
To Andrew saying to John that Ghostface never wears a bulletproof vest, literally the only reason Roman Bridger survived as long as he did in Scream 3 was because he was wearing a bulletproof vest when Sidney shot him

Didn’t think these movies could get better but this one was actually great. That corner store scene was amazing. Can’t wait for the 7th honestly.
I felt like the ending was a bit of a missed opportunity after all the build up they had paying homage to all the previous instalments, but overall I think it was the second best film of the franchise. So much stuff that’s completely new and fresh for the series while still delivering on all the standard Scream goodness.
Damn annika's death scene was brutal especially the way she was stabbed. Devyn nekoda did a good job what with limited screen time she had.
My only problem with this film is Anika dying. I really liked her :(

The little things drive me crazy like when their friend gets killed and they are barely escaping being killed but they make jokes and smiling like nothing even happened.

Now I've had some push back on this, but, I still stand by it: They're really trying to make it seem like Sam is going to follow in Billy footsteps, put on the mask herself, and become Ghostface herself eventually. However, I think it's a misdirect. I think Tara might actually turn into Ghostface. Not sure why or what drove her to it... just that she will snap.
Courteney Cox got top billing because she’s legacy and draw! A good percentage of folks who went to see this movie went based on her chase scene with GF! And she’s the only one who’s been in all six - it was very well deserved!
Actually, her and Roger L Jackson are the only two actors that were in all 6 movies.
I love how she gets a really good chase scene in this movie because her last good one was in Scream 2, and this movie follows the similarities of Scream 2.
During the final kill, my friend screamed out loud in theaters “TWENTY EIGHT STAB WOUNDS!!” 🤣

I was so pissed when the stabbed chad, but was so happy when i found out hes alive he might be my favourite character in these new scream movies
I love how only one person tells us it's Kirby, and this person should obviously be suspected himself, because if he kills them now, they can never fact check him, but everybody believes him.
1 & 5 - love interest killer
2 & 6 - family of the now dead love interest/killer
3 - one big meta movie about the dark mysterious history of all of them

I immediately thought Quinn and her pops were sus because you're a detective, and you know exactly what happened to Tara and Sam's friends...why on Earth would you let your kid continue to chill with them? And then we didn't actually see Quinn get attacked/die. I don't actually watch the films and actively try to figure out who the killer is, though, so I just kinda let it go even though I thought it was really weird haha.

The motive behind the killers was what brought it down for me. Not the kills, not even the reveal, strictly just the motive. Yes it’s like Scream 2, and I get it, but all 3 of them being killers like Richie out for revenge was stupid.

@@3r1kofficial I understand that. Admittedly, when Bailey said "once I saw what you did to Ritchie, I knew you had to pay." I had to consider them seeing Ritchie stabbed that many times probably push them over the edge.
There were technically 5 killers, 2 died in the neginning which is kind of cool when you think about it.
I love that Scream 5 & 6 kinda mirror 1 & 2. First, the characters. Sam is Sidney, Chad is Dewey, Mindy is Randy, and I guess that leaves Tara as Gale. Then, 1 & 5 both have the boyfriend as the killer and the finale in Stu’s house. 2 & 6 both have the parent of the previous killer as the mastermind, the finale on a stage, and the characters in college. Plus you think Dewey and Chad are dead at the end of their respective movies, but are revealed to be alive and are carried away on a stretcher (and they barely survived their first film). I’m sure there’s plenty of other parallels, but these are the obvious. Hopefully they keep this idea and 7 mirrors 3. Watch out for any directors or long lost siblings (or maybe Sam?).
I think Tara and Sam are Sidney, Kirby could be gale as a cop or maybe Judy.
I think the Seventh will involve either the carpenter mother or maybe their father.

Loved this film. The scene by far my favourite part, they really pulled a switcheroo making us believe they were all together in the trailer. Also the ladder kill was so intense.
Some people didn't like the way Dermot Mulroney played his part but i thought he was great.
Also they clearly nailed it because it had you guys guessing throughout.
