This is the absolute best explanation and comparison on youtube between Firebase and Mongo DB. It is clear that you're a very smart and thoughtful person just from the way you explain.

very helpfull video, I am building an app that can have around 30.000 users as a maximium so which one would you recomem to use firebase or MongoDB?

I recommend you ask yourself the questions in this video to see if it can help; I do not know the nature or details of your application, so I sadly cannot help in this regard! It's a trade-off, with multiple factors weighing in, and not just # of users. Good luck!

    Questions:
Was it too hard to migrate to MongoDB from Firebase?
Did the process effect your users' experience and your app's reputation? Any details about the progress and time is highly appreciated.
    Great contents thanks!!!

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Regarding your first question, I'm not sure how hard it was, but it was certainly a hassle because of a deadline! I was already familiar with both databases, so that part was not hard, but it was objectively difficult in the time constraint. As for your second question, the app was not actually out yet! So no users were affected. However, to give you some insight, some apps in the region suffered greatly due to Firebase being banned. However, it was brought back a few days later!
