I have never heard this name of this fill, but I have tried to teach it many times. It seems many folks have problems with where to actualy start, when they are in a groove. But ok, there are also many places to start, within a groove. I am actually not sure I start at the same point as you. Or at least not always. I guess folks should just practice it with some speed, and then see/feel what comes natural - it is an impressive groove (makes me think of 80´s "Poodle hair rock", but not let that distract you). :)
