What colours.u used? Pls explain.did u apply green under black color?

Titanium white
Alizarin Crimson
Ultramarine blue
Dioxazine purple
Bright aqua green
Cadmium yellow medium
There is no black in the mixture. My darkest color is a mix of dioxazine purple and bright aqua green
I try to paint the shadow areas first and then build up the lighter tones on top.

Alizarin crimson was mixed with yellow and white to warm up the sand color
