He was an everyday Joe and partied with them.

I've been to several concerts over the years. Always had a thing for Joe, love his distinct voice, his playing, all the way to this day, my heart feels the same! He's one unique man I just love everything about him. His music will live on forever💋❤💋💋❤

Joe was a huge cocaine dealer in tbe 70s and 80s. My uncle was a musician and dealt drugs on the country music circuit. He would buy from Joe and also from Gram Parsons and his manager. It was a very competitive and violent scene. My uncle said he once watched Joe light a man on fire. He survived but was horribly disfigured.
