Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken Tenders Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup corn starch
2 tablespoons Damn Good All Purpose Seasoning
1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Sauce:
1/4 cup sriracha sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Sesame seeds (optional)
Lime wedges (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preparation: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, corn starch, Damn Good All Purpose Seasoning, grated ginger, salt, and paprika. This blend will ensure your chicken tenders are flavorful and crispy.
2. Coat the Chicken: Dredge the chicken strips in the flour mixture until they're well coated. Shake off any excess flour.
3. Fry the Chicken: Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken tenders in batches until they're golden brown and cooked through, about 4-6 minutes. Remove them from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
4. Make the Sauce: While the chicken is frying, prepare the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together the sriracha sauce, mayonnaise, and sweet chili sauce until smooth.
5. Toss the Tenders: Once all the chicken tenders are fried, toss them in the sauce until they're evenly coated.
6. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the coated chicken tenders to a serving platter. Sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley and optional sesame seeds for an extra pop of texture and flavor. Serve with lime wedges on the side for a fresh kick.
