Logan, we have been thinking about updating the CJ-7 cage as you have suggested, with the plate style A-pillars. If/when we do it, it will coincide with an overhaul of the YJ cage, as we'll do them both at the same time to try to take advantage of similar parts that can be used by both models. But I don't have firm plans or anything close to a timeline for that at this point. --Dusty

Nice product, you didn't speak about an after market top like my NX Trektop, do I just not weld in the back section after the C pillars?

@ 2:45 i assume he means any factor *style* top including the aftermarket tops that are made like the factory top. but maybe not the other styles (like the slant tops).?..

Logan, no the CJ-7 and YJ cages have not been changed. The product changes mentioned in this video apply to the TJ and LJ versions only, at this time.

What speakers do you have that fit with the roll cage for TJ

Mine didn't come with any laser etched parts or drill marks. My B-Pillar tubes are about a 1/2" too long, and my upper windshield spreader tube is 1" too short. I'm still in the process of fitting it together, I will update if any other tubes don't fit

Are there plans for updating the cj7 cage? I'd like to see an A pillar like in the tj/yj cages for the cj so you can still use your windows with factory hard doors

Does the whole cage have to come out to remove the dash for dreaded Heater core and Ac evap replacement?
