That was a bit weird for me. Started watching your video, as i am seriously thinking about getting a gts supersport as my only two wheeler. And then I realised you was riding towards my village and doing the exact same route i will be wanting to use mine for. And now I know the vespa can do it. Thanks.

Essentially it’s just so damn effective. I’ve been damning it with faint praise. It’s really far more capable and usable. Once you get used to it the keyless start is absolutely fine too.
Hi Graham, It's definitely a A55 cruiser it will be good on a 70 mile ride at 60-70 mph, I bet you could ride on the A55 to Wrexham and still feel fine and ride back towards Caernarfon with ease, it must be a great ride. I driven through the Penmean Bach and Pen-y-Clip tunnels no problem in my Peghani Zonda no problem with a roof rack on and towing a trailer.

I rode my x max 250 from shropshire to Gibraltar twice. A comfy 60-65 cruise, very comfortable seat. No chain to check. Great wind/rain protection.i did change the the variator weights to make it more leisurely cruise and I couldn’t sense change in acceleration. That enabled a 70 mph+ cruise. I then had a honda sh300 which looks like a honda 90 but was a positive rocket ship and would do 90mph. It would outrun most cars from the lights. It even surprised some bikes to 50. I do think the smaller wheels are an issue with the potholes. In Europe these scooters travel all over. The downside for me is my xmax250 only did 65-70mpg whereas my honda 125 did 130mpg. My current suzuki 650 vstrom easily attains 70mpg
Some excellent points and info there. Round here the roadworks are giving us new and "interesting" surface irregularities all the time. It doesn't feel overly worse than the BMW on 17's or the RE on 18's. Id say the Monkey is slightly plusher than all of them. It looks like the consumption rockets soon after 65. I wonder if it's a function of the CVT.....
@@craigyllynyes I would think cvt is power sapping. I also think twist and go is addictive and lots of twisting goes on😂
How will this be 2-up. Me 88 kilos /14 stones & wife 56 kilos/9 stones around town and shorter day trips … somewhat hilly 50-55 mph?
I’m thinking in that environment it will ace it except….. the storage is no good for helmets in my mind
