“We never claimed to be affiliated or use Crumbl’s name for sales”… Says the people that plastered Crumbl’s trademarks, logo and name all over their store. Named it “Crumbl’s pop up shop”…..

There is NO WAY Australian Customs would allow 700 FRESH MADE COOKIES into the country via plane in peoples luggage. “Flight delays” sounds like express shipping of the cookies via freight or something.

Yeah. When I arrived in Sydney last September 2024, I threw my Cheetos and some of my US snacks from my hand carry inside the airplane before entering the airport building. I also had to declare my Indonesian noodles, which were less than 10pcs in my suitcases and some of my dad’s medicines from his doctor in his suitcase. It was that strict from my experience. I was shocked to hear the news that they brought Crumble Cookies from the state to Sydney, and Australian Customs could let in those amounts. I assume the seller paid to make it work. Idk which is true. That's why they sell for $17/cookie. 😂

They give people potential food poisoning and charged obnoxious amount of money for that. There is no way in the world, I will ever let it go like this.

It's very common for American brands to do pop-ups in Australia - stuff like In-N-Out and Shake Shack do it all the time. Australia is a very wealthy place and a market American companies want to move into. These pop-ups are a good way for companies to test the market before opening actual stores here. That said, many American things are too sweet for us.

700 cookies at $17 a cookie minus the $4000 initial investment would be $7900 profit, but travel expenses would need to be deducted and the cost of setting up the pop up so I’d say around $5000 total was what they made. I bet they get sued for 100 times that. Maybe more 😂

7:16 people like that are so scary. That’s why a lot of people who make money real quick are usually doing it the unethical way. I haven’t finished watching this video and I did not hear about this, but I hope that they all get sent to federal prison.

I live close to Mexico and this is what they’ve been doing in my area. It started creating wait times of 3 hours or more. They just started cracking down on it so the wait time isn’t as bad as it was.

I've never had a crumbl cookie and until literally just now, I didn't even know there was a crumbl cookie store near me (it's like 40 minutes to the closest one), but there's this girl I see pop up on my FYP on TikTok and she's done reviews for crumbl cookies with brutal honesty (because a lot of influencers lie about them) and so even if it wasn't officially crumbl themselves putting out those cookies at the pop up or whatever, I would've believed the bad reviews because even the official cookies look bad. They fall apart too easily and it just seems like crazy amounts of sugar and also I've heard they're bland af so it wouldn't have been so farfetched to think these reviews for this pop up were for the legit crumbl cookies instead of fake ones. Also $17 for a COOKIE? SINGULAR? Absolutely not.

The cookies are too sweet because they're made for an American pallet, which uses more sugars, sweeteners and syrups in recipes compared to Australia. That's why people are complaining at how sweet they are, aside from obviously being quite stale

I don't know how this happened in the first place. How were Crumbl not aware before the pop-up shop? Surely there must have been people tagging them with "so excited you are coming to Au"-type comments!? Or at the very least someone in Crumbl searching social media for mentions of their brand.

i literally almost had to pay a 400$ fine for accidentally forgetting a tiny snack cucumber in my backpack when i made it to new zealand, i cannot and will not believe they let someone bring hundreds of freshly baked cookies into australia, they could've literally been contaminated or full of bacteria if they were made badly or gone bad. this is so weird
