I have made both of the Freestyle pants and wear them all the time, I would like to make more… I love your goals and should follow suit, buy less and make more
I so glad to hear you like them. Hopefully I like them too. Yes I'm definitely going to try and buy less. It's a bit overwhelming having too much choice. Maybe I could adapt some patterns I already have should the need arises. It's so nice to chat with you again.❤❤
Welcome back and Happy New Year!!! You got the MimiG book! OOOOOH I love mine. I used her patterns in the book. So easy to follow. MimiG is a VP at Simplicity now. The S8796 coat is gorgeous. YOU CAN DO IT! My goal is to make a coat too. I wanted to make S9685 coat in 2023 and never got to. I need to make it in 2024 for sure. I would also like to make a shirtdress and a jumpsuit. I'm focusing on my stash of patterns and fabric this year! Great video Katrina! 🥰🥰

Thanks for your honest down to earth Aussie style. I like your approach to the make 9. It’s more achievable then being very specific.
If a formal jacket is scary try the Heather Blazer by Friday Pattern Company. It’s not as complicated and has several sew alongs on line (free). Though it is quite boxy so I sized down and it fits well though still relaxed. I have the Sew Beautiful book also. I’ve made the dress version of the top you picked out and wear it all the time. Her instructions are very clear and her sizing is true.
Summer pants are on my list too. I’ve just cut them out and are in my “to do “ pile. Also pleased to see a yarn project on the list. I’m going to try the Ranunculus pullover which is apparently the most downloaded knitting pattern on Ravelry. It uses 6mm needles so should grow quickly. How’s the puppy going?
Hi Karen. I have heard of the Ranculas Sweater. So pretty. I definitely want to make it one day. It sounds like we have a lot of projects in common. I hope you get plenty of sewing time to make them up. My puppy is wonderful and so smart. So good to catch up with you again.❤❤
