Since I take care of my elderly mom and stepdad all day every day, with ten hours of outside help per week, for me it's down to seeing myself as God sees me, and acting in accordance with that. I pray constantly, do small amounts of journaling at a time more frequently, sleep when I am most able, refresh my purple hair color now and then, do self-care of various sorts every day, such as mild exercise, skincare, listening to music, eat well, while also eating comfort food, having different types of battery operated lights in my room to help elevate my mood, since I usually can't go outside, and surrounding myself with things and pictures of Loved ones that evoke positive emotions, since I am isolated here. I also feel fulfilled encouraging people in the MH community. Many blessings to everyone standing for their families.

Isn't the 1st 1 a little fat shaming?
It's not about being a certain size, as Kimberly said, it's about feeling comfortable and healthy in your own body. That includes, as she stated, getting clothing that you like which fit nicely on your current body, rather than starving yourself to fit into a smaller outfit.
